F#(KING LOW LIFE BASTARDS >:( I'll definatly be keeping an eye out too, I would like to catch the mongrels that stole it and.... well you get the idea, but they would have trouble walking ::)  Dave, it might be worth putting an ad up on gumtree about it being stolen.

I'm betting it was kids who'll "paddock bash" it and dump it Dave, a pro wouldn't bother with an old dunger like that, so keep an eye out around local parks and walking tracks, etc. I just hope they haven't crashed it or blown it up. I'm guessing the poor old bugger didn't have any insurance? I hate bike thieves. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Yeah it sucks mate, and if he hasn't got much money this might be the end of his motorcycling. Can you give him a hand to get his 500 on the road a bit quicker perhaps? A nice big chain and padlock might be a useful accessory too. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I don't know exactly where the bike was stolen from frosty, but here in Melbourne the most dangerous place to leave a bike is anywhere near a public housing estate. The kids are the product of their parents, and their parents are generally arseholes as well. I worked at a servo in West Heidelberg for a few years, and I met some of the biggest turds that God ever shovelled guts into. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Hope the bike shows up Dave.
And just as importantly, the sub human prick that took it.

If you find the bastard, send him up here to Darwin mate.
We still like to meter out punishment for thieving mongrols the old fashioned way.
It frees up the police resources and also the courts.

I'm more than happy to chip in a bit if it can help Danny out.
Us mob have done it before and we can do it again if needed.

Unfortunately true of Marsden as well. Always stories of bottle shop hold ups, stabbings, ram raids, you name it. Since some council rezoning I now live in Logan shire rather than Beaudesert shire, so I guess I'm now a 'Bogan from Logan' as well. Will have to buy some flannel shirts & ugg boots I guess. I haven't grown a second head yet though.  :o  :o

Sorry to here about your friends bike. The odds aren't good, but hope he gets it back. It doesn't matter what part of the world you live in there low life sorry people everywhere. I'm very cautious and careful with my 2 sohc4 bikes. When out on either bike the 750 KO or K6 I never I mean never park them anywhere and leave them unattended. When I ride the bikes to work I always park them inside and I always eat lunch at the same Subway because I can still keep my eyes on the bikes while inside eating. If I know Im going somewhere that the bikes would have to be parked and out of my sight I'll just drive my pickup ;) Better safe than sorry.

What would you expect from a colony of inmates?

This could never happen in the good 'ol USA.

I know you are only kidding Fiddy, but after reading the following info from Wiki Answers just now, I feel pretty darn safe living here in this ol' penal colony............. ;D

"How many us citizens are convicted felons?

Answer:

I'm not certain an exact figure is known or published. People would be too shocked to learn the actual number. About a year ago there were 2.5 million people locked up in US jails and prisons. We are the largest incarcerator in the world. No other nation is even close to housing the number of prisonsers we house. We are responsible for roughly 25% of the world's incarcerated population, yet our entire population is only 5% of the world total.

Let me try this another way, The state of Michigan has been tracking the number of convicted felons in the state since about 1920 by issuing a unique six-digit number to every convicted person. In 2003, that number reached 500,000. Within one year, it was at 700,000. By the end of 2005 it was nearing 900,000. Michigan rarely reissues numbers and typically only when a felon dies in custody does that number get reissued. So, the actual number of convicted felons in the state of Michigan is right around 900,000. Estimate up to the million person mark, as it is currently 2010 and the trend has only increased (a million is actually conservative), and the number of convicted persons in Michigan reaches slightly higher than 7%. Use that figure for the entire US and you get 2,450,000. I know, it doesn't work; that number is lower than the total number incarcerated in 2004. So what does that say? The number of Americans with felony convictions is much, much greater than 7%. Figure safely that it is around 15% to 25%.

Exactly my point. The trouble is , here  a large amount of criminals have unlimited amounts of legal funds to defend themselves, or better yet and more likely, no one [who actually  prosecutes] will ever consider their crime.

They are called elected officials, who generally do what they want to remain electesd.  Recent court rulings make it easier to buy their influence as "campaign donations."

Once in a while it actually does blow up in an elected official's face, but it's getting harder to light that fuse.
