Swaping oil tank. K0 for K3
« on: June 29, 2012, 09:02:48 AM »
I got realy confused with went lines.

K0 has two reaching this little round compartment on the back of the tank. One is crankcase went and the other one overflow??

K3 tank I want to put on for my ribbed side covers has two holes on the bottom and nothing on the back.

The only thing thats the same is the location of the two oil hoses.

Please, advise.

Thank you

It sounds like you have a 750 K6 oil tank as they are designed different than the K0 thru K5 tanks. Does it look like the K6 oil tank in the pics?

It could be. I bought rolling frame K3 and the oil tank came with it, but was not installed. I will check when I get home.
