Looking to get some new shocks for my CB550 Cafe.  I have some old busted rear shocks on there now... and after rebuilding the front forks, the flaws of the rear are now apparent.

Looking to get something that is a decent price (i.e. under $200 shipped), rebuild-able if possible, reputable dealer, and could be ordered and have in my hands in the next week.  Not interested in sifting through pages of ebay and forum stuff to find a suitable part or waiting until they pop up again.

How are those rebranded redwing shocks by Assult?  Any good?  Any other sites that have a decent deal?

Thanks for the info.

I have Ikons on my 650, they are brilliant, adjustable preload and damping, and they are rebuildable.  I can't remember what I paid for them though, but I'm pretty sure it was more than $200.

CycleX has shocks for less than $100 shipped.  I've had a pair for two seasons, and they're a good improvement from old stockers.  They're not a performance shock by most standards however.
