Penny pinch rant in Gmaj7
« on: June 28, 2012, 11:10:44 PM »
If you have a question whose answer is that you have to buy something, don't shoot the messenger.
   By-and-large on this site , we're resurrecting someone's garbage.
It's an awesome thing, and I even believe it's environmentally conscious to keep 400+ lbs of metal forms operating  vs. the energy spent to melt and reconstitute for manufacturing..
But for Pete's sake, relegate your compromises to cosmetics .

its not that easy being green,,having to spend each day the color of the leaves, when i think it could be nicer being candy red,or sunrise candy flake or candy gold or something much more colorfull like that.

Gmaj7 is a terrible chord for ranting! that unresolved leading tone just hanging there over and over, that sweet, happy sound? far better a G7 (dominant 7th) where you can get a bit of tritone "bite" in there. heck, throw on a #9 once in a while, and get the drummer to whack the offbeats and do a little hi hat action and funk right out.

don't want to hire a drummer? can only afford a drum machine. penny pincher!!!

I think Phil's been painting with the windows closed again............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
