Body Armor
« on: June 29, 2012, 10:10:35 AM »
So I'm looking for a jacket with armor since my vintage leather jacket doesn't have any.  My problem is that most jackets that fit me through the chest and shoulders have sleeves that ar too short.  I was thinking of getting this and wearing it under my vintage jacket. Thoughts?

What's it like trying to raise a pint wearing that/those?   :D

I wear my Icon Accelerant vented.

Racey enough looking, but still a little stealthy with the all black.

Not really trying hard to look so vintage.

I've always wanted to get something like those. After I got hit by a truck my mom bought me a nice armored jacket with good ventilation. I left it back home with my beemer when I moved to Oz though. It's gets pretty hot here, so the mesh stuff may be better. Also, while in Spain one summer I saw a hot chick wearing the mesh gear and leather pants. She was riding some sport bike, but damn was she hot! Maybe I should get that gear for my wife.

You see, I was thinking more of He-Man type of thing but that puts a totally different slant on it.  ;D

The whole thing is perforated. Zip out the cold weather liner and once you're moving it feels as cool as it would without a jacket.
