so w this lovely random wisconsin weather, I decided it would be a good idea to put a front fender back on but i didnt want to wreck my original one so i ran up by Kenny today and picked up a used one that had already been cut in the back. Now all i have to do is cut the front down and drill out the holes so that i can get it tighter on the tire sand and paint :) If i wake up early enough tomorrow I will start this lil project and post pics

Blew a front fork seal the other day. To be honest i was surprised that they were still good. Ripping the front end off the bike and got new seals coming in.  Figured now is as good as time as any to lower the bike so got to get a hold of Kenny at Cycle X and get some shorter front tubes and some shorty shocks for the back.

wow cant believe how long it has been since I have updated this, well here is a current pic of the bike.  its been a real work in progress and I have hit a few hick-ups here and there but its still running like champ and starts in 1-2 kicks every time.
I deleted the rear and front fender and currently have a 7" black projector headlight on the way.  Will post more pics as soon as turn signals and headlight arrive.

Oh also found out the bike is actually a 72 but it is registered as a 73.

New headlights on the way, black spyder projectors

Will let u know how the install goes.

Also have 3" red led strips (ordered just waiting for them to arrive at my house) that im going to mount on the back of the rear shocks for turn signals, and small led front turn signals.  I have two blue led strips that im going to mount to the bottom of the upper frame rails that run under the tank and wire them to a switch along with the blue accent light in the headlight.  As soon as I get everything installed I will update with more pictures.  I'm hoping with switching everything over to led that my battery will be able to hold a charge for the h4 bulb conversion.  I think having a 17 tooth front sprocket on will help seeing as it raised my RPMs.

What kind of shape is your seat in? If its the one without the key locking mechanism and your looking to sell, or even do a care look. I may be interested in it. PM me... Im in Milwaukee and my family and I got to HUrley all the time. Could stop by next time.

So a quick update, those "projectors" are complete and total junk!! Cant see jack at night with them.  My new plan is to get an actual car projector and take these headlights apart and retrofit a real projector in the middle.
