I thought about it before I opened the thread.  I figured Hondaman among some others would be an easy answer.  But the "intangibles" some of you mentioned got me thinking harder.  What about Lucky?  How cool would it be to hear, "no, you're doing it wrong" over and over again?  What about the SOHC girls?  Inkscars (which I used to think meant Ink's Cars BTW) and her

The "intangibles" might make a build a little frustrating for both.  Can hear it now:

That tire is too wide...

Keep it totally stock...

No way, you can't run pods....

You HAVE to mount a front fender...

That is not the best oil!

Compare to jeepers, I dont recall a thread on grade 5 versus grade 8 bolts :) - it used to amuse me for weeks, our oil threads are kid's game :)

I just want someone around here to ride with.  Everyone around here always has some excuse why they can't.  I really enjoyed the Rally.

Folks I would like to meet and in no particular order (my old mind is mush) would be Ecosse, MCRider, Hush, Sam, Terry, Mick and a few others that the forum tag has not come to mind.  I have met fastbroshi, CBGhia, SOHC4Lat, greenjeans, Stev-o, The Architect and Motocyconomad.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I choose MEC because.....Well, just read some of the stuff this guy builds and his knowledge etc.  Plus he lives in the land of good beer,  AND he has a better set of tools than a TV repairman..  Does he have to come to my house, or can I impose on him?

A person NOT in this forum that I'd like to have over and talk bike maintenance with would be Robert Pirsig.

As for forum members, I've grown to like all you guys.  But I think I'd choose some of the older guys that have been around a long time.  I just like hanging out with the older generation.

Now an idea for a really interesting thread would be; Which forum member would you NEVER want to help you with your bike.   :D

First person I could think of is HondaMan. I've met a few members from this forum. I worked on bikes, and went on many rides with Roach Carver when I was still in AR. He helped me out a lot. Now in Oz Terry was one of the first people i met. Cliff was with him, and he's a nice guy too. I'd also like to meet Samcb750A (not sure if I got that right). I'm kinda surprised no one has said his name. I mean, an old guy (meant in the nicest way) who drag races old cb's?! I'd like to go drinking with Spikeybike, and talk fab work. We'd probably get into trouble, but I bet it'd be fun. If I ever wanted to work on F's again I'd like to hang out with Branden and Tewakin. I'd love to go ride with them anyway. And I guess to wrap it up I'd like to ride cross country with Andy750. I'd be happy to meet everyone on here between point A and B.

I would have to pick two, Hondaman and Terry, because I would not have any time to work on the motorcycle myself.  I would be too busy listening and trying to absorb the info.  I would be able to look after the beer and the barbeque though, especially the beer, and I would be able to translate  ::).

Ofreen would be another .. I would be interested to learn how he keeps his machine running for so many miles.  I am sure there are a few stories to be had.
