So i could use some help...
Admitting you have a problem is always the first step. So the second step is to seek help. So here it is, I'm going to have a swing arm buillt at a local machine shop. Im needing the measurements for a box~dresda style swingarm. I need almost every measurement on one i can get im going to modify it abit to build a one off 6 over swingarm for my cb550 thanks in advance Ron

Ps i understand their are other swingarms that can be modified to work but id rather get exactly what i want than adapt something to be almost it.

Does anyone got anything on this.   Mainly i need the distance on the inside where the axle goes and the lenth of the angled out peices and the straight peices of steel ill try to get a pic with what i need to explain it better

I can't get the distance between the axle adjusters without removing my wheel, but I'm sure it's the same as a stock swingarm.
The box section tubing is 1" x 2" if that helps, and the angle of the front section to the end is 8 degrees.

What is the length of the section between the long piece and the pivot if you can get that.thank you in advance. Andthe angle thank you i didn't even think about it lol good thought

Also if anyone knows the length of the pivot arm long ways and the dithance between the the swing arm where the axle mounts. I think im going to sharpen my pencil and get out the old protractor... Get some poster board and. Design it. And redign until it looks perfect to me lol. If anyone has a good way to build a axle adjuster/ chain tensioner please share this .

You're probably better off looking for some original Dresda axle adjusters like the ones sitting on the garage shelf.

Well maybe but Im going to prolly go with a thicker piece of square tububing so thats why i was looking for a idea but that pic is right onn the money thanks

Very easy to make from aluminum.
I used larger OD stock and used lock-tite to bond the threaded rod.
Works great.

Well unfortunately for me... I cant weld nor do i have the tools so I'm designing everything on paper and i have a machine shop going to make it to my specs.. so i have to be spot on with everything. They said i could hanng out there and oversee some of the work but my work schedule prevents that. Lol
