Let's see we have to beat Ghana and Italy has to defeat the Czech's.  Ghana's boys have speed on their side and they don't get tired easily.  We have pretty good D, but our offense is #$%*e.  Our passing sucks and we don't get good shots at goal.  One on one though, we have some kids that can play.  But once the ball leaves their feet, the pass is usually intercepted or blocked.  The Italy v. Czech game should be pretty good.  Just as long as it not officiated like the US v. Italy game....That was horrible.
I don't like hatin' on the US, but I call em like I see em.  It hurts me to watch a game with the likes of Brazil, Spain, Argentina, etc because their so good, and their game is on such a higher level, while were stuck on the ground floor.  

I'll still watch the US match though.  Isn't it my duty as a citizen to show support for the national team and mabey get into a few fistfights over national pride? ;D


I guess it's hard for you fellow americans not to rule in such a widespread sport discipline. I guess you don't take curling or horse jumping to seriously, but if the world over lives around soccer, it would be great to be the world champions, wouldn't it? ;D


No problem, just have Bud or any other major beer sponsor the TV broadcasting. As soon as people get used to it interest will grow and teams will have more money to put into it and train the "players-to-be". You will have to overcome the "soccer mom" stereotype first...  ;D

I must admit I turned over and watched the Aussies once Brazil scored the second.  Much more exciting match...

I honestly never thought USA would make it past the first round.
They really needed to have Tweelman in there to score. You can't win if you don't score.

Have lost all 4 bets I made so far on other teams, but will predict this:
Sweden 3, Germany 1.
Brazil 2 others 5. Ha ha.
Mexico wins it all!!!!
