Hi, My names Tom and as you've proberbly guessed i'm from the U.K. and for my sins I've just bought a 1978 cb750 k8 all the way from Nebraska. This was last on the road in 1990 and everything was seized solid, so the engines been taken out and the head and barrel removed and here lies one of the reason for joining this site like everybody else I'm going to need some advice and help and hopefully as time passes I'm might be able to help in return. My main problem at the moment is finding pistons and rings plus 0.25 overs, it seems the 78 model has different shaped pistons with a slight dome if these cant be sourced could I use earlier model pistons.
