I don't know Mrieck personally, but I'd let him do most anything on my bike. From all the years of belonging to this forum, imo, his expertise
on just about anything related to the sohc's seems first rate. I'm no
expert by any means, just an auto mechanic. But his posts make sense
relating to performance modifications. The pics of ported 750 heads he's
done make me drool. From what I've read/seen on this forum, his work speaks for itself. 8)

hmmmm .. well , i packed my bike up and drove to KC and stayed with Inkscars for a week ... and yes she is a blast to party with...   i met my very good friend Kramer here on the forum and a year later i was standing up in his wedding ..  my couch is open to ANYONE here who wants to use it ..

but if i had my choice of any member....  i'd have to side with Smitty and say those crazy ass Aussies Mick and Terry  .... that would be just utter chaos .. and i'd probably learn a thing or three  ;D ;D

If I was doing a race bike, I'd want MRieck at my house. Or maybe, me at his shop...

If I was doing a long-haul bike that needed some extra-duty performance parts (for riding fast and long), I'd call on Big Jay.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

That reminds me, I need to look into finding a rebuild kit for the water pump. It is beginning to weep.

  • So, what do ya wanna talk about today?
Is it gently weeping?

Like George Harrison's guitar Dan? What weeps out of guitars anyway, sour notes? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thanks, Harry, but the main thing I do is take it for granted it will run forever. ;)

No HM, I was talking about my Venture. ;)

I was thinking of taking Erika to Harvest Classic riding 2up on the Venture and hooking up with some of the other folks down this way.
