I miss this forum!

I miss my Honda, and working on it. I am still on the hunt for a CB750. This summer i am just focused on riding. I got the Triumph on June 1st and i have 1600 miles.

So no messing with carbs this summer, but remapping the ECU with a laptop and a USB port is no picnic either.

And Tewes, sorry about the tires, just go to a Harley dealer, they mount and balance lace tires all the time, and your in Wisconsin the Mecca of HD

Nice Thruxton.  There's one by my work that has some really sweet black mags on it.

Sweet looking bike! It's all good on tires. Live and learn.......

How does the Thruxton ride? If I were top buy a modern bike its that or a Triumph Daytona.

It rides nice, has modern brakes which is a huge difference. Its the size I like its a big bike for a cafe racer, still miss the sound of my CB though. I changed the exhaust, and remapped the fuel injection for that classic British sound

I will change the rear shocks and front springs eventually, the handling could be improved.

How would you compare it with your Honda CB750? Specs say 68hp. Does it feel stronger than a stock CB750? I like the stock exhaust as well on that thing. Can you post a video of it running maybe?

There is already a link on you tube to the exhaust...TPUSA dominator touring, and i had a 550, this has alot more torque and top end, but it is heavy. I dont have a video yet , but I did alot of you tube research before I bought the exhaust, this is a good clip on a bonneville ( same engine).

That's the exact bike I wanted before I bought my Honda. Why on earth did you sell the 550?

The 550k was a little small for me, I was becoming frustrated looking for a 750, and my wife wanted me to buy a new bike so I would spend less time in the garage tinkering with my Honda.

I love the Triumph, but im still looking for a 750
