True story Several years ago an Air Traffic controller was having a very busy day. He was handleing Approaching aircraft He noticed a BA Trident was coming up on a KLM Viscount He asked the BA pilot to slow down 15 Knots but was still too fast asked to slow down another 15 Knots as he was still a little fast BA were asked to back off 15 Knots more THe BA captain responded angrily. Are you aware of the Stalling speed of a Trident Aircraft. The controller replied No Sir but ask your Co Pilot he probably Knows.
