same time last year assembly, same temperature in the shed, Hot

Lookin through some of my old parts boxes today and found my old helmet, used it in drags and circuit racing .

I vaguely remember putting on the coolest sticker in the whole world about 1972

Currently yes lol Dont have the heater working in the garage this year going to be moving all the bike stuff into the basement for the winter so I can actually work on it.

If I was a wise man Scottly I would put a swampy cooler on the roof but I am planning on shifting to retire next year and have to build a new shed at the new place, so saving up for a decent shed and heaters , yes need heating not cooling where I'm going to retire. NO more 45 deg days, sick of the suckers.

Yikes .... minus how much ? that is seriously cold workshop boys. I might be getting soft in my old age I couldnt move without a decent heater, too many bike related broken bones from the old racing days

What sort of shed heaters do you use in the cold snow places ?

Plan to retire to a small seaside coastal town called Victor Harbor, lots of old folks there. Its called gods waiting room.
Minimum temp 10 deg max high 30's, great place to grow agapanthas and polish cb 750 honda's

High 30's makes me sweat just thinking about it johno!

But the potential new digs sound better.

We're to hit +6C today then drop back off to -15 for tomorrow.....bloody roller coaster. I have "in floor" heat in my shop. The temperature is a constant 16 degrees through the winter period, me like!

It's up to 25F today in the Colorado Rocky foothills. Down to -12F the other night.

I'm going out in a bit to fire up my portable round kerosene heater. 2.5 car attached garage. Works great. It is all I need.

I had a rough shed day too, I pushed the button, warmed the 250 up for a while, shut it down, and went back in the cool

I have a couple of propane "Mr heater"s, but they don't really heat up the space much; I find myself standing in front warming my hands a good amount of the time.

Victor Harbour/Strathalbyn has always been on my retirement area wish list johnno.
Not that it will be any time soon.

Maybe we could be neighbours one day mate.
Or does that mean that there'd be a couple of divorced retirees living in Victor Harbour with their Honda 4s?

This is my shed heater, gas, it gets around 0 deg occaisionally here in the desert.
You see I have this theory

being old school I often use petrol to clean up parts, lots of fumes etc so me put flame up high and away from the heavier gas fumes on the ground.

so far so good

Bloody chews up the gas though, 3 nights to a 20lb bottle , thinking of making an adapter for the car gas station filler, heaps cheaper.
