lets talk chain

so finally got the 550 running great! except charge... but i put the bike in gear....no problem.... but in 3rd and up gears the chain noise is loud!!!!! is this just the nature of the beast or is this something that needs to be addressed? chain and sprockets look good no bad pitting.....chain well oiled

Why no O-ring chain, if the clearance is OK?
The part that needs the most upgrading is the nut holding the handlebars

You can't deny your ears. If you can hear it there is a problem. Now to determine how bad.

On the centerstand, push up on the bottom row of the chain to take out all slack. Now at 3:00 o'clock on the rear sprocket, grasp the chain at a pin with thumb and forefinger, and pull away from the sprocket. If it pulls away far enough that you can see daylight between the chain and sprocket, ifs a goner.

My money is on worn out chain.

The clearence is usually NOT ok. On the front by that rubber plug.

If the chain is "crap" you are best getting new sprockets as well. Worn sprockets will wear out a new chain pdq.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Exactly.  It will rub into the plug near the front sprocket and then you are in all sorts of trouble with that repair.  The chain is too wide is my understanding.  Also look for rounding on the sprockets not just pitting.  It is the rounding that will get you.
