CB350F/CB400F Carb Insulators
« on: July 12, 2012, 05:31:36 AM »
G'day again guys,

I was wondering if you can recover stiff card insulators ? Part no/. 16212-333-030 (I think this is for the outers and the innerspring are another part no/.)

Mine have become rigid and I can't get the carbs into them. I noticed some for sale on eBay that were NOS. the only thing is, they're $35 each, which I think is a bit rich.

Any ideas or recommendations?
Thanks and Regards,

Still learning the iPad or I'd pop in the links. Do search on this site, there are threads on rejuvenating the isolaters. So there appears to be some hope. I need to pull the carbs, again, and may give the method a whirl myself.
