I am rebuilding my CB750 K5 and I'm at the stage of putting the oil tank back in place. I have the 2 hoses to the bottom of the engine, the breather tube from the top of the tank to behind the swing arm but I also have a smaller bore tube coming from the middle back of the tank. I can't tell where the smaller tube should go. I'd have thought to the air box but there is no corresponding nipple on the air box. It could go to the vent at the back of the cases but this is a different diameter and vents the cases to behind the swing arm (or so it seems from the Honda manual) but no mention of this smaller tube. I just don't remember where it came off, it's not on my photos and I can't find its home. Any advice or comments as to where I should stick it?
