plug opinions SOLVED

do these look a bit rich? im having ok idle, but missing under load. did a double tune at 300 miles on the rebuild. still gets to speed, feels like one cylinder is stuttering.

They all look on the lean side. #3 slightly less than the others

ride the bike some more,they still look too new,there is soot on the inside,theyll be ok.

they have 1000mi on them. pulled them out while doing a valve adjustment  kirk out

350 miles on the the rebuild.  caps are prob stock, 2 off 76 k, 2 off 77 f, matching on coils. new condensors, points.

Those look OK Captain. If there are no running issues, I would continue on at warp speed. Engineering out. ;)

Skam, your stuttering issue, plus the bone-white insulators point to a lean condition, IMHO. (waiting for someone to say "beam me up, scottly!  ;D)

No. lean. (or too new)  But, you never said at what load or throttle position the plugs experienced.

i think too much is read into plug reading,i think kirks look too cold,uneven colours,dirty slow circuit jets and or uneven float levels?

i wouldnt worry about them though.

Captain, she be a bit hard to tell without some more data.  I'd recommend you do a proper plug chop.  Without more data I'd only be guessing, but I think we b needing to increase the anti matter flow.

must be a wee bit lean. i commuted today and throttled it good... it starts after its warm, i can get to speed and cruise, but at mid throttle it stutters, or misses. it used to have 750 mac4-2 w no baffles, now its baffled reverse megaphones and chokes, or starves?
