Got another couple of dyno runs, 40.38bhp @11,500rpm (maybe 12,000?) lots of clutch slip. need some more modifications before I go any further

 Dyno run 5 is with 120 main jets, 21mm floatt height to lean it off a bit in mid range (stock float height 19mm) and stopped at 9,000rpm

Hi PJ, I'm really digging the engine work you're doing on this one.  I have a 360 that I'm going to hop up, and I'm going to go down the GS piston route, or maybe even the XS400 route(is that as simple a swap as the GS?).
I will probably purchase the megacycle cam, some 32mm Mik's, and I'll be using a nice 2-1 collector/megaphone setup that came with my bike.  Looks like an old race item.
The heads will get a valve job and clean up in the ports, clean up the bowl to seat transition. 
Do you know if the springs are the same as in the 350?  Will the 350 race springs adapt over?  If not I may try to find some comparable beehive springs.

XS 400 pistons are slightly heavier than GS850 ones but fit the same and are still way lighter than original CB360 pistons.
 Not sure if valve springs are same as CB350, never checked.
 I think most beehive springs will be way too stiff.
 I've been doing some more work on the XS800, (among other things)
360 is on back burner for a while longer.

got swapped to am shift after 5~6 yrs night shift just after last post (June 2009).
 Then I got sick  
 After that I damaged hand/arm in work (ongoing workman's comp claim, need to see a couple of specialists)
 Then I bought a frame with title (late October.)
 Title didn't turn up until December.
 Had pneumonia
 Recently started on a more 'retro' version, CB350 front wheel with XS650 rim, going to have 3 eventually plus 3 XS650's and Katana (still collecting 1052 parts to build 1100 motor for 600 Kat  ;D)
Here's pic of wheel, stupid amount of work gone into it, 20~25 hrs or more ( I stopped counting)

trackbike is on indefinite hold due to various health problems.
 I also had accident in work last year, messed up left arm, it's still ongoing.
 Anyway, still playing with various bikes when I can.
 Got pair of wheels built for 'cafe' bike, Yamaha XS650 WM3 flanged rims, Conti "GO" tyres (90/90x18 front and 110/90x18 rear)
 I did a stupid amount of work on rims and hubs, they look pretty good though and are very lightweight compared to stock (about 40lbs for pair, with tyres  :o)

Been doing a little bit, had surgery, got to have another surgery in April. Left hand/arm still messed up.
 Having 'issues' with dentist (not many people get fillings in 'false' teeth  :o)

Got things pretty sideways and pulled 'dyno' motor for a more or less stock Cafe Racer

Multiple builds CB360

Haven't done any updting here for a LOOOOOOONG time
I got one finished and rode it around a bunch last year, did a couple of G0-Pro vids, etc for You Tube
I've had 3 surgeries on left elbow so couldn't do much (didn't work, hand still tingles/numb)
Anyway, few months ago, someone was asking about flanged alloy rims, alloy rims and stock rim weights
As I was working on wheels yesterday I weighed some rims.
18"x 36 hole
Stock 360 WM2 steel rim, 6.05lbs
Flanged alloy WM2 rim 3.78lbs
Flanged alloy WM3 rim, 3.88lbs
Moto-cross WM3 rim (no flanges)4.48lbs.
The blue MX rim is noticeably thicker material but I'm still surprised the same size flanged rim is over half pound lighter



 Just weighed a genuine Boranni WM3 x 18 40 hole I'm going to fit to CB450 drum, 3.95lbs
I'll update with pics of what I'm up to if anyone is interested?

Frame after etch primer and white primer

Rear brake plate mod, had a hell of a time finding small vents

Playing with 'Plasti-dip'

Brendon's 360

Tight fit, going to use GSX-R forks instead

 Going to use the blue forks on 'brattracker' build, (they match wheels)
The other set are on their way to Australia for a 400f
I modified steering stems to use Honda bearings

CB360 wheel with adapters for CBR600 brake rotors and axle adapters for GSX-R forks
