I've noticed that for the CB500/4 , Honda made small changes to the gauges and their hardware each year. So some of the earlier ones had straight shaft receptacles for the cables, while other years had angled shafts. It seems that the mounting screws were various widths apart as well as having a single vs. a double bulb for the lights. Does anyone know of a decent visual reference for these gauges?
