Port Dover Friday 13th?
« on: July 12, 2012, 12:56:18 PM »
Anyone doing the run to Port Dover tomorrow or is it just an HD thing?

I've never done it.

I did a search here for "Friday 13" and don't get much. Is this Friday the 13th thing to Port Dover only a local thing or are there other rides to other places specifically because of Fri 13?

I think Fri. 13 is a local Pot Dover thing that has its own history.

Be sure to check out the "thong man" if you go. ;)

I've been a few times. Mainly HD, but all types and brands represented.

Over the years it has become more crowded and watered down, with more cage drivers (average/normal folks) taking in the spectacle, resulting in a smaller proportion of interesting characters.

Still visually rich and great for people and bike photography.
