This one from Stevo on the "bike on the road" thread would be perfect for the autumn months if there wasn't two guys in the background, I think that's the rules?

In fact I don't know if I'm breaking any rules by posting other members' bikes

FYI - nominations close in a weeks time (30 Oct) and then Ill figure out a way to get 12 photos + 1 cover page for the Calendar - probably some sort of poll or voting system.

I am not a fan of doing split photos or montages so thats out (and since I am the one doing it thats final unless someone else wants to take over the organisation and production part).

Time is indeed up! Now the assembly of the photos begins and then we will have a poll to see if there are any strong preferences for each month (and cover photo). However I will have the final say since I am the one doing the organizing. If no one likes it then they can make their own

I am not doing this for personal profit and proceeds will go to the SOHC website.

I will have limited time in November to do this but "deadline" to have it all wrapped up is end of November and have the calendar ready (via lulu.com) in time for Christmas. Ill be PM some of you for info about your photo and about getting a higher resolution one and Ill include my email address to send it to.

Ok we have 91 submissions for the 2013 Calendar...covering all SOHC models....

Subgroup them by month? Season? Poll based on this? Any clever ideas?

My clever idea is exclude the ones that don't meet the criteria for the calendar and list the rest in a separate thread gor a general poll.

You can put the winners where you see fit, after all the only seasonal months are Dec-Jan which almost always are snow related and maybe autumn.

Andy - reduce the number of entrants to 39, three for cover and nine for each season.
Then have 5 polls - cover, fall, winter, spring and summer. Winner of cover gets it and top three of season each get a month.

Andy...are you planning one main picture per month or a few smaller pics. As I look at my hardware calendar here the photo area is 8x11. You could get 2 - 4 nice pics on this which would feature a few more bikes. Just a thought...

IMO, Johnie's avatar or I think 736cc has a pic of all the different K0 colors in his living room. Great cover pics

You could separate them by model? 350, 400, 500, 550, 650, 750. Obviously some are more popular or available than others, but it would give it some variety.

That would be two of each bike for a total of 12. The Cover would just be the "best shot" regardless of model.

Of course, this all depends on if there were 2 calendar-worthy shots from each model submitted.

Hi:

This 1972 Green Hornet is all about sound. Has a Marving racing exhaust.

She rips through the rev range with a perfectly staged gearbox.

Very smooth until about 65 mph.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions which are all very useful. Will probably go with Stev-o idea about a poll to narrow to it down. However one thing is for sure...one photo per page...I am not a fan of multiple photos per page...limited attention span I guess
