Herm at DCC inspired me to make my own fiberglass cafe seat for my 1975 CB550K1. To this end, the bike currently has a king/queen seat that my friends dub the "whale tail". Looking for advice as to whether or not I could use the seatpan from this retro monster as a base for my cafe seat that I will be creating? Appreciate any intel on seatpan dimensions from a stock 550K1 seatpan but assess the bulkiness of my unit is from the foam. Outside of this, I am in the market for a 550 seatpan and will happily put this excellent condition seat up for adoption....it even has the matching sissy-bar.
