what is this? Says its a 77 Honda 550

From what I can tell, it seems like a honda 550 motor, or part of a motor, everything else looks off.   Frame seems more like a yamaha, the transmission is for sure not right.

it's a 1980 cb650 custom. there is no kicker which is one distinguishing non 550 characteristic, and there are pd carbs, making it a 79 or an 80, but the 79 would have a different frame, tank and seat. fun bike, but not a 77 cb550.

Looks to be a "frankenbike".  If the price is in your budget and it runs OK it would make a decent driver.   Make sure the title is clear and matches the VIN on the steering stem.  The engine doesn't matter in most states.

Man I keep seeing that bike pop up on the Cleveland CL...I thought the same thing, my 550 looks a lot different than his...his posts keep getting flagged for some reason too, pretty sketchy
