3rd Annual Hoosier Fall Ride - Sept 29th
« on: July 23, 2012, 08:31:47 PM »
Hi Hoosiers, and anyone close enough to come along. I'll be leading the 3rd Annual HFR on the 29th. Route TBA. We've been South Central, SouthEAst, Maybe we should try SouthWest?

Give me some suggestions, places to see, etc.

All bikes welcome, SOHCs preferred!

Under the circumstances, this ride is at least now tentative, if not outright cancelled.

The FJR is unrideable. Outside chance to get the CB750 running by then but can't count on it. So dont make any hard plans.

Unless of course someone else wants to spearhead the ride, be my guest. :(

Hey Ron.  Haven't been on much lately and just found this thread....and read about your accident.  So glad you're o.k.!  Keep us posted on the ride status as the date nears.  I already have plans on the 29th, but they can be cancelled if a ride is going on.

Will the FJR be ready to go in October?  Still lots of nice riding weather in October.

Hi Chris. October is possible, I'll stay in touch. I've only seen pictures of the wreck, the "babysitter" emailed to me. Lots of broken plastic. The dyno cover has a large hole, which leads to the possibilty there is road debris in the engine. Making plans to pick it up Sat or Sun.

Possibly Phaedrus may run by then. Still needs some shakedown runs to see if i got the front end sorted.
