cam chain adjustment screw oil leak
« on: August 01, 2014, 03:24:10 PM »
I almost changed all the gaskets and o-rings in my engine now.

I believe I developed a leak from the cam chain screw, and looking at the fiche i see an O-ring between the head and the washer and nut.
My question is, can I loosen that nut all the way to replace the o-ring without the risk of loosing the tensioner screw?

if it are a 500/550 you can..but the threds can be bad..so it not easy can be turned aut...there must not be used force/power..it can breake tensinone adjusting..so a schrevdriver must be hold so it not turns the senter part..so only the autrunner schrev turns off

vhy not loosen the bolt...vash it in fuel.and give it a bit floting gasket..and make the cam chain adjusting as the book rekamendes..and it vill be nice tight ,
