Driving school car runs stop signs...
« on: July 27, 2012, 12:52:19 PM »
Just had to send this email.... >:(  *&@KING PISSED!!!!

To Management at _______Driving school.

12:30pm
I was on my motorcycle, driving south on 39th Ave SE.
One of your driving school cars, on Monte Villa Parkway did not make a full stop at a stop sign, and darted into my southbound lane.
Again, I am on a motorcycle, and completely visible as there were no other cars on the road to interfere with visibility!!!!!
I had to brake heavily to avoid hitting the back of the car. WA Lic # ___-ZHK.
If it was a student driving the car, I hope it was their first day, and you teach them the importance of stopping at stop signs, and to watch out for motorcyclists.
I hope this is a habit you do not teach, and If it was one of your instructors, they should be fired, and unable to teach anyone.

Eh, I tired to float through a blinking red that crossed a highway off ramp in driving school back in the day. The teacher's pedal got used on that one and a stern "That was a blinking red you just tried to float through!!"  ;)

Lesson duly learned!  8)

Yeah man, at the time I confused it with a flashing yellow. Got flustered.

got this reply from the offfice mgr ...

Hi Robert,

We appreciate letting us know of this incident.  I am glad that you were able to react so quickly to avoid a collision with our car.

We work at teaching our instructors and students to drive defensively. We have ongoing training with all instructors to accomplish this goal.  It sounds like we have more work to do in this area.  We will follow up on this with the car/instructor involved.

Thanks,

What they were really saying...

Hi Robert,

We appreciate you wasting your time and ours to tell us what we already know, - that we hire idiots for instructors.  We are so glad you were able to avoid our dumbass, because Lord knows it probably would have cost me my job too.

We work at hiring the most inept illegal aliens who pretty much can't find employment anywhere else and pay them the absolute minimum wage to insure that they can't afford to work elsewhere or talk back. Our instructors are taught by highly skilled cocaine baboons on loan from the Washington zoo, unfortunately the shortage of good quality smack is starting to make them lose interest in training. (The baboons, not the instructors.) It sounds like you need to get over this and move on, cause we're not gonna change our methods. We will follow up on this by inserting it into our circular file.

Thanks and KISS OFF!
