Drop kickin' Road Ranger gearboxes and Spicer twin plate clutches around the workshop won out eventually.
Tell your tight arse boss that as an employer, he's got a duty of care for his men and to get a new certified gearbox jack and a wheel trolley.
That should piss him off mate.  ;D

Ha ha, obviously you've got a jack to jack up your 700 pound gearbox, so in essence, you're really #$%*ing about a 150 pound clutch Andrew? That's 100 pounds lighter than my 'Wang engine? It's no wonder your husband won't make you an egg and bacon sanga mate, you don't fcuking deserve one!

I was going to waffle on about installing power packs in Abrams tanks to really rub it in, but I started to feel sorry for you about your back, so I'll leave it at that, which kind of pisses me off, but in a good way......... ;D

It's Sunday. I worked all day Saturday. Back to the salt mine tomorrow. My back and neck is killing me. And it's fkn raining. Which means I won't go out for a ride today. Weekend screwed.
That pisses me off. >:(

I feel your pain Pete, I'm going back to work tomorrow after a month off, and have been feeling miserable for the last week just thinking about it. Do you think it'd be too early to take a "sickie" tomorrow? ;D

I've seen the adverts for that show, but haven't watched it. I don't like watching "Swamp Rednecks" either, as I don't like watching people killing animals.

I'd like to see a program where the alligators eat the rednecks though, but that'll never float on commercial TV, which pisses me off.............. ;D

We used to use one of these for lifting the gearbox's until I first hurt my back, which pissed me off, after that I refused to use it.



The boss then bought one of these, it makes the job easier, but it is still bloody heavy work.



At the same time I asked if he could get one of these, so I didn't have to lift the heavy mongrels of clutches into place, he refused, which pissed me off.



Then 4 weeks ago I went into work and after 10 mins I could barely walk, I went home, and didn't move from the bed till I could get into the doctor, who signed me off work for a month, which really pissed the boss off ;D.  I'm meant to be going back on Friday on light duties.  Here's the funny part, I'm not allowed to lift any more than 4kg, so apparantly I'm not even allowed to go for a piss without a helper :o.

bad day bad mood as result very bad weather
freakish mid winter thunderstorms here in Indiana.
tore roofing material off roof of my barn.  3 motors full of water.
2 tool chests full of water
my beloved 750F absolutely drenched
roughly inch water on floor, rafters and walls soaked thru
oh did i mention the 8 inches of water completely surrounding my barn which is normally on high ground.  life sucks the proverbial big one right now and I aint happy.

Oh, hey! Look at that! I just looked at the weather report and apparently it isn't supposed to be all that bad! Some nice, wetting rain but should be gone by morning. Looks like it has dissapated some since Indiana! ;D Sorry Kronus for your weather. Now I'm pissed off about Kronus' sucky rain and that the weather guy made me look like an idiot! >:(
