 Last summer my tinnitus added a new treat, I was laying in bed hearing the usual high C note and told the wife, listen to all those crickets. She asked what crickets? I said never mind when I realized the window was closed.
 I've consumed a couple bottles of lipoflvanoid, it seems to be better at separating me from $25 than curing anything. It was better a while back, maybe while I was taking zinc and C and some manley man pills my wife got me at GNC. I have to admit, I was passing used beer like a fire hose.
  Somewhere here I posted a video of my kids bluegrass band playing outside in 2017. That night I couldn't hear the ringing until I was halfway home.

Got a service connected disability from the Army, when I became retarded......uuuuhhhh.....retired, but because the doc said the ringing was from having artritis, I get 0%.

It's taken me many years, but I have 20 accepted conditions (mostly from broken bones, I've broken more bones than Evel Knievel) and have had a big payout, VA gold card (free medical/dental, for any condition, cheap utility bills, cheap vehicle registration, free public transport, etc) and a handy pension which pays for all the booze, er, medication that I can swallow? Getting medically discharged with 0% compensation is bullsh1t, and pisses me off. I hope you're doing OK.

Yeah mate, if your VA people are like our DVA people, they're trained to make it as hard for you as possible. Just be patient, jump through the hoops, and eventually they'll run out of reasons to hose you over. As my doctor rationalised to me, "They broke you, now they have to buy you."

Shipping from the US sucks balls. On top of that, Ebay adds another 10 percent of the item cost, plus the shipping cost, to (supposedly) pay the Australian Government "Goods and services tax" (GST) The thing is, there is no GST on used items that one private seller sells to another private buyer, i.e., if Frank was selling me one of his frame kits, I wouldn't have to pay GST, but Ebay just charges GST on everything.

Ebay's HQ is in Switzerland (tax haven) and to my knowledge, don't pay any tax in Australia, so I can't help but wonder how much of the GST that I pay (and I've paid well over $1000 of GST on various Kawasaki Zed parts recently) actually goes to the Australian government, and how much Ebay just pocket? Fcukers, I think I'll start my own version, called "Terry Bay" and Ebay can lick the sweat off my wrinkly gonads...........

Working from home is great. I fell asleep sometime around 11am, and woke up sometime after 1pm, and no-one (except my wife and sons) noticed. My only problem is I'm eating too much. Oh well, a small price to pay for work nirvana. Now I need to go back to Ebay and buy more Z1 parts, as I've just realised that I don't quite have everything I need. Oh well, such is life........

My Kawasaki Z1B frame arrived yesterday, it's immaculate, freshly powdercoated and ready to go. Trouble is, the Z1B engine cases are slowly working their way across the US and God knows when they'll arrive here, so I can't build the engine until it arrives. I've discovered (well, "rediscovered", I guess) that the most painless method for installing the engine in a big Zed (Zee in the US) is to lay the engine on it's side, then lay the frame over the engine, as it's probably a tighter fit than a CB750 engine.

As much as I'm really keen to build a roller so I can have it ready for when the engine is ready, I have to be patient and wait for the cases. I might be 60 years old now, but I still have the impatient mind of a 6 year old the night before Christmas, so that pisses me off...........

My stat-o -seals from France just arrived at Sydney after 5 weeks and will be another week to get here in Brissy.

Do the lower top tubes have a bend in them or are they straight like god ( and soichiro ) intended that proper motorcycles should have

You can do a top end rebuild with the engine in the frame in a big Zed Spotty, but there are more lower mounts, which is a pain in the arse, you really have to shoehorn the engine into one set of inner mounts at the lower end of the rear of the donk. It's much easier to lay the engine on the right (ignition) side, then lower/wiggle the frame over it. Much easier to do without forks, wheels, handlebars etc.

 I was kind of pissed late yesterday afternoon,mostly at myself ! Quick story is that I was going to go for a little ride and hit my shop on the way home. I grabbed my new GS1000 carb fuel pipe I had just had delivered from E-bay. Cost around 16 bucks and with rain coming early next week good time to finish it up. I stop a couple of times during my 60-70 mile ride and have a smoke and a chat with some people. Get down to my shop finally and my pocket is unzipped and the bag of cig filters I had my new part in is gone. CRAP !! So this Sunday morning I re-trace the ride in my head and have a good idea where it may have happened. Hop on the bike (Sunday AM is nice to ride) and 30+ miles later look what I find laying along the edge of the country road in the dirt and grass all damp dewy and nice about a mile from my last smoke stop at a back country boat landing. Whoo Hoo I don't have to re-order and wait and pay twice.
  Lost a flip phone out of the same coat last year. Backtracked my ride and found it but it had got ran over before I got back to it.     Zip you F'in pockets Eric !!
