  • So, what do ya wanna talk about today?
Leaky water joint on a GL1100 is piss'n me off!!!

I re-used the 27 year old O rings when I put mine back together, but coated with some blue silicone schidt that one of the Oz members recommended for fuel petcocks around 7 years ago (when I bought the tube) and mine hasn't leaked a drip! I just thought I'd tell you, to piss you off! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Geez Terry and here I thought that you'd move to a frontier, a real frontier, like northern Manitoba and help the 1st nations peoples get ready for the coming Millennium by showing them how to jump out planes so they could check on all the equipment the gov leaves laying around.
Bill the demon.

Ha ha, thanks Bill, and as much as I'd love to help out those guys, 1. The weathers too friggin' cold, and 2. I'm so fat nowadays I'd have to use a cargo chute, and be dropped out of a C-17 Globemaster! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Moving house pisses me off, for the past week and a half the missus and I have been working full time as well as trying to shift house.  I finally got the last load and swept out the shed at the old place about 3 hrs ago.  We were supposed to be out yesterday but thankfully the landlord wasn't too fussed because we had vacated the house yesterday.  Now I have to go get acupuncture on my back again to get me moving.  I want to go for a ride next weekend but if my back doesn't ease off it will piss me off, because I won't be going anywhere.  All I can say is thank #$%* we are done.  Also now we no longer have a landlord and the bank has a new house ;D.  Now we just have to sort the place out.

Thanks mate ;D.  Towards the end we were ready to build a bonfire in the backyard and just start chucking the crap onto it.  We have no intention to move again anytime soon, we shouldn't outgrow this place too soon.  It is a 4 bedroom house on 2.5 acres, with plenty of room to extend the house if need be ;D.  With the current property market in this area we got the place at a giveaway price.

We moved in 97 from Prague to  Maryland with 8 suitcases and one year old daughter.  3 rental places in Maryland later we settled in rural Virginia and I hope I dont have to move ever.  Those eight suitcases grew up into something like 3 trucks and I dont count dogs, children, vehicles, chicken ....:)

Hey, that beemer looks half ok....nice pick up!

Well, OK then, I don't see any mention of a ride on your beeootiful CB1100R, but I'm sure you just forgot about that mate? Anyway, if you need to sort out some 'tards, who you gonna call? Tard busters! (that's me, BTW)

I'm glad you like my Bavarian Murder Weapon, I was all set to drive over to the other side of Melbourne to collect it and ride it home, but the seller said he was happy to deliver it to my place, so I was rapt as it was horrible and overcast when I rang him, but since then the sun has come out and it's great weather for a ride, so I'm pissed off that I didn't go pick it up! Cheers, Terry. ;D

People who offer to deliver your shiney new (old) bike to save the risk of you dropping it, then dropping it in their pickup trucks piss me off.

Yep, the turkey who sold me the BMW offered to deliver it because he was worried about me riding it home, then managed to have it fall over in the back of his truck! AAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

Oh well, surprisingly, no real damage done, a couple of scratches in the beautiful new pearlescent paint, but it'll live. I just hate him now, and I know I shouldn't, and that pisses me off..........  :P

Terry,
isn't there a law in Oz that says you have to punch out people that piss you off?
That's what Crocodile Dundee taught us about you'all.

It would piss me off if I have been wrongly programmed about Aussies.

peace,
michel

PS. Punching people that piss me off, daily,
well in my mind only as I hate violence.  ::)

Well I, on the other hand quite like violence Michel, because I'm good at it. (or at least, I was once, but I'm "known to the police", so I have to be good) I couldn't thump the useless prikk though, because he was doing me a favour when he fcuked up, and another Aussie law is that you can't punch schidt out of someone when they're trying to do you a favour. And that pisses me off too...........  >:(

I was pissed earlier today.
Can I still post here post-pissed?
It pisses me off that I don't know the answer to this pressing ? SO
I guess I will post a post.  ::)

Saturday I expect to earn $142 refereeing 5 soccer games 2.75 hour drive from home
with 1st game starting at 8am. Therefore I decided to find a motel near the games,
mainly so I wouldn't be whipped by the drive before making earth-shattering decisions
on the pitch (we're talking teenage female & male players here).

Cheapest motel started at $88, then when you go to book it,
fees, availability etc etc lowest total I could find.....$132. Hmmmm....leaves me
$10.00 for gas, 260 miles round trip.

Pissed me off.

Finally found a hostel to book, $44.40 for 6 hours sleep.
This pisses me off as I never have stayed in a hostel.

peace,
michel

Who let all these Americans in our thread, did you leave the door open again Dave.  That pisses me off.  But not as much as mowing the bloody grass.  We had a public holiday here today for the local show and I spent most of the day on the mower chewing through the grass in the back yard of our new place.  We have 2 1/2 acres and about 1 1/2 acres of that is reclaimed land.  Until 5 years ago there was a large dam in our backyard and the grass hasn't been cut since it was drained.  So the ground is quite soggy because it has never had a chance to dry out and the grass was bloody thick.  The poor mower had its arse hanging out most of the day for most of it I was using every one of the 14.5 horses and I got it bogged a number of times.  Now that job is done I might treat it to a new set of blades, a new deck belt and a fresh load of oil.
