No it is owned by Vietnamese.  On a similar note, the local chinese shop was actually closed for quite some time after they were found passing off dump chooks (white ibis) as duck.  I'm glad I never ate there.  A lot of people in town were quite pissed off after that one came to light

same here on the coast a few years ago,inspectors found ibis in the freezer,they sold them as duck!what pisses me off was they werent closed full stop!i find that #$%* so repulsive the shop shouldve been closed outright and the vendors declined any further food and saftey licences.

Photobucket pisses me off because they've changed the fcuker again without asking for permission. 

I dunno if it was because of this software update that they did with these Samsung Tablets but its a fcuken root now.
I was gunna show yas a photo of the GL1000 fork lowers that I painted today with VHT Chevvy Rally Silver wheel paint but they've gone and fcukd that idea up.

Dave, Dave, Dave, Theres a language filter on the site and you have to go into your settings to turn it off, if you spell #$%* like "fcuk" then everyone gets to see it regardless of the filter, we can't be seen to be biased at all  ....  Theres a method to our madness mate....

Here you go Mick, I dunno what Chevy silver looks like, (and I'm colour blind anyway, so I probably couldn't pick the difference) but here's my GL1000 front forks on my 750, with the lowers painted fcuking engine silver.

I baked the paint on at 200 deg C but one leg fell over in the oven and I didn't notice it had a couple of little chips in it until I assembled the front end and it was too late to touch it up. That pissed me right off.............

That looks good mate.
Here's a few photos of the fork lowers with the Chevy Rally Silver. VHT SP186.
I bead blasted them and Wattyl etch primed them first.



The silvers got a bit of a metal flek through it which stands out with the sun directly on it but I'll give it a bit of a buff out when the paint goes hard.





I got that Adelaide Hard Chroming mob to straighten and hard chrome the tubes and they came out nice.
I think that it was somewhere around 150 bucks each, maybe a bit more but they look like the ducks guts now. 





I bought some new axle caps from CMSNL a while ago and I only noticed yesterday that one of them has an arrow to indicate the forward position but the other one doesn't.
So I'm trying to work out which way that it's suppose to go which is pissin' me off.

What I REALLY hate (the topic of this thread) is NOT being able to ride when it is cold outside because I don't have ANY heated gear or a windscreen. LMAO!



Or riding inside a freezer. LOL!
(use the HD option with full screen and come along on a ride starting at 8,900')

I was chewing over the caliper paint idea and sort of figured that this VHT wheel paint should handle the elements ok.
Time will tell mate.

Your paint is looking good Mick, not sure about the silver flake though, looks a bit "Proscilla, Queen of the Desert", to me?

Don't worry about the arrow thing, as long as the larger gap is at the back of the forks, the caps will be pointing the right way.
