Geez you can't complain about that Dave. When I was up in Townsville (schidthole) I got a couple of steaks that were just a tad too rare, I thought about sending them back but remember what my son told me about when he worked at another restaurant, if someone sent a steak back, the chef would drop it on the floor, step on it, slag on it, then cook it and send it back. The company was paying for all my meals anyway, so I just drank more free beer and ate ate my chips............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

You guys ever eat tartar steak?  No worries for it to be too rare and good eating too.

I knew a bloke who found a fcuken coakroach in his meat pie.
So he took it back to the pie shop and whinged his guts out about it.

The bloke behind the counter told him to stop his fcuken whinging and being a dickhead.

He told him that if he'd found half a fcuken cockroach in his meat pie, then he'd have a valid woos and sent him on his way.

 That pissed him off.  ;D

Speaking of cockies. In summer I go on nightly raids to kill the buggers. They congregate in our rainbow lorikeet's cage for a feed. These cockies are those big black American ones, thanks brothers. I go armed with a flashlight and cocky knockdown spray and then drown them with it. Cockies piss me off

When my nephew was a baby, he had some sort of reflux thing where he couldn't hold down milk, so the doctor told my sister to give him grape juice instead.

She bought the brand that the doc recommended and all was good, until one day, the little bugger started acting weird, tripping over himself and laughing, falling asleep etc, so sis took him to the hospital, and it turned out that he was drunk. The grape juice had somehow fermented and he was drinking wine.

My sister contacted the manufacturer and told them what happened, they must have schidt themselves, because next thing a truck turned up with a pallet of free grape juice! I suppose she could have sued them for a squillion dollars, but it mustn't have harmed him, he's an archaeologist now and lectures at Sydney University when he's not in the middle of the desert digging up rocks. Cheers, Terry. ;D

went to the local old "wallaby"hotel here at mudgeeraba for lunch today with my wifes family, they #$%*ed my order up and brought me the wrong food, then I realised I was over charged so they brought me the balance and a free beer, then it was taking ages and everyone else had finished and plates cleared away,id had a beer or two and wernt real hungry anyway so asked for a refund,so I got the refund and then they gave me a $30 voucher for next time, then they bring me my order and say to have it anyway!ive tried but I aint pissed off!weve been there a million times, good old pub and local, buurrrpppp!

http://www.wallabyhotel.com.au/

Those 'Wallaby' website pics reminded me of Juneau AK, the Alaskan Hotel and the pictures I've seen from there just like it.

I tried to google the ones I had seen, but all I got was huge piles of snow on front street which are okay. But they didn't show the dive in the tub down the hall from your room hotel.

So I thought I'd post this:

The ol' mate was just telling me that he went Xmas shopping this morning and bought his missus a new diff for his Nissan.

Apparently, it was a real bastard to wrap up and now he's gone and knocked the Xmas Tree arse up in the lounge room and there's sh1t all over the joint.

His missus will be home at 6 o'clock and this cleaning up is interfering with his precious drinking time which is pissing him off.  ;D

No doubt about that, the grape juice manufacturer was probably thanking their lucky stars that your sister didn't sue them. Ambulance chasing lawyers here in the US would've been beating a path to your sisters door wanting to take that case to court.

I went to Barbeques Galore today to buy one of those Weber Q lads for Xmas.
I asked the fcuka there if that was his best price and he reckoned that every day was his best price, so I thought to myself that he can bash it up his arse.

Well, I had the trailer on the back of the Toyota and had to go to Kleenheat Gas to get a 45kg bottle of gas for home that had run out.
While I was waiting to get served at Kleenheat, I had a bit of a sniff around the showroom and spotted this Weber Q on special for 200 bucks less than the Barbeques Galore #$%* wanted.
So I asked the fella there what the go is and he reckoned that they're getting out of selling Stoves/Barbeques and accessories and everything is being sold at cost + 5%.
You fcuken beauty.  ;D
Chuck one of them in the back immediately.  ;D

Then I had to neck a few beers to celebrate the new acquisition and Charlie was looking a fairly excited too because he knows that there's always a sausage or a bit of steak left over after a cook up.
So, all in all, a good day except for the Visa card balance which pisses me off, but who gives a fcuk.  ;D

I think I've got BBQ envy Mick, but my crappy 100 buck Bunnings barbie is still motoring along, I chucked some snags on the other night to make sure it still works and was happy with the result, so I can't convince myself to buy a Weber, anyway, I wanna smoker so I can try smoking some big cuts of meat, I've been watching "Pit Masters" on Foxtel, and I reckon that'll be the go for next Christmas. The Webers aren't too bad mate even though they come with a healthy price tag.
I threw some Porterhouse steaks on it last night after working out in the bloody sun all day with half a carton under the belt and didn't charcoal 'em like I usually do.
That sold me and the freeloading visitors wanted some more tucker and wouldn't go home which pissed me off.  ;D

Terry, I bought one of those ALDI smokers a few years back.  I have done bacon, smoked chook, pulled pork, smoked snags, pastrami, smoked fish, and a few other things in it.  It works great and was fairly cheap too, it uses bugger all gas too.  ;D
