Ha ha, well as much as I believe in reincarnation mate, I'd love to buy it, but it's not to be. The seller is playing funny buggers, he replied to my eBay PM that he'd sell it to me for $8K, and before I could reply, put it back on eBay for $13K. I'm guessing that I won't be buying it.............. ;D

Monster S4Rs are cool...didn't they make a Fogarty edition way back when?  Reminds me of a hooligan bike, like the Vmax, but supremely better handling...

Yeah mate, I don't like the SOHC Ducati's at all, but the S4R is a sweet ride, it might not catch a VMax in a straight line, but it'd kick it's arse in the twisties for sure! ;D

This guy flying his machine in Ireland tries to land outside a pub. The body of water is a canal, the black vertical objects are lamp standards and the building on the right is the pub. This was never going to have a happy ending.

Well, the Postie Bike has cleaned up reasonably well.
There were fcuking wasp nests in every orifice and the muffler and air box were full of the fcukas.

You can still get plenty of parts for them and they are quite well priced.
This lad in Thailand sells new front and rear rims with a full set of spokes for 90 bucks and about 50 bucks postage to get 'em here so I might just bite the bullet rather than root around trying the clean the rust off the old rims and then paint them.

Also in my Postie Bike researching ventures, I found out that you can buy big bore kits, hot cams and performance exhausts as well.
Will I ever learn my lesson????
I think that I'll just get it operating efficiently and safely and leave the performance mods as a pipe dream.

So from now on, the fcuking wasps can fcuk off and go and find somewhere else to build their fcuking nests.
Fcuking wasps piss me off.  ;D

In last month's AMCT Mick, they had an article on the recent Speed Week at Lake Gairdner and there were two Postie Bikes that both did over the ton, this one (below) has 2 stage turbo charging and makes 60 BHP, but blew up @ 122 MPH due to a 12000 RPM downshift, rather than upshift. (Oops.........) There was also another Postie bike rider who built a "partial streamliner" using a large washing bowl for a fairing did 128 MPH!   


This bloke in UnZud reckons his is the world's fastest Postie bike, but he's full of crap, of course.


I do like the look of that Forza engine though, but it's probably Chinese............ ;D

Geez, looking at those Posties mate gets the mind tickin'over.
I want to teach my youngest daughter to ride on 2 wheels when they get back from Duetschland this coming Friday so I better not hop the ol' Postie up just for now.
She's a bloody maniac on the 500 Quad Runner as soon as I turn my back.

I took the headlight out this arvo and the shell was chockas with more fcuking wasp nests.
Reckon that I've got 'em all now.
They don't like WD40 and the water blaster and fcuk 'em anyway.

A bit more TLC and the ol' Postie will be a goer again.  ;D

That's it Mick, apparently the guys who do the annual Postie Challenge fit XL250 tanks on their CT110's to carry enough fuel to get there, and I guess it does make them look like regular bikes. I sent Hannah a photo of the Postie on that Instagram turnout thing and she's busting to get back home to Darwin and check it out.
As well as that, she's missing Charlie, missing having a barbeque, missing Dim Sims and apparently they haven't got a bloody clue how to make Iced Coffee over there.

So, Mum has given approval in principle for some Postie Bike riding lessons when they get back home.
I told Hannah to get Mum to buy her a leather jacket and riding boots before they leave Berlin so that she'll be all set to go.
Then I was thinking afterwards that the boundaries might be getting pushed a bit before the official OK has been given.

But then again, Yes means No and No means Yes.  ;D
