Hmmnnnn, well it's pissing me off that we can't talk about politics, but I'll just say that I agree with you both, and tell you that we're in a similar situation here. The sad thing for me is knowing that we've got much better leaders, (I've worked for many in the 35 years that I've spent in the military) but they have no interest in public life.

It's sad that the people who have the power to decide the future of this country aren't "the best of the best", or even "the best of the worst"............. (Sorry Bob, I'll be good)

I don't really hate it, but I sure as heck don't understand it.   
After going back and looking at about as many posts as I could stand, I noticed that it seems a lot of the comments seem to be politically slanted.
Why is it, that if anyone happens to differ with your views, "BaaHwAM", they are an idiot.
I understand freedom of speech and all that, but please, don't call people stupid.
Even if they are stupid, that is only because they haven't been educated.
Please educate them, you are their last hope!

Sadly education doesn't make stupid people smarter, it just makes them think that they're smarter. I work with some of the dumbest drongo's that God ever shovelled guts into, but because they've got university degrees they think that they're really smart.

I love watching them try to formulate a plan or make a decision on their own, that's when their self confidance starts to falter, when they're required to have an original thought, and they have this look on their faces like somehow their brains have deserted them, or they've just realised that they're not as smart as they were a few minutes ago, when no one was watching.

So while education is a wonderful tool, the education standards should be a lot higher, to weed out the dumbasses who are given their degrees as a reward for just turning up for class, as opposed to earning them. That pisses me off.

You'll be happy to know that my Triumph Rocket III is going well again mate, I did around 3 hours on it today and had a ball. I'll be riding it down to the Island again next year, I hope I see you there again, in fact I'll be pissed off if I don't! Cheers, Terry.

I am actually amazed at how many members of mensa we have here. I agree with scrap, it's always easy to label someone as stupid just because thay disagree with your perception of reality. THAT pisses me off. I also choose the high road on politics here because I dont care to argue for endless days with no resolution. Guess that makes me smart?
