I'm pissed off that for some reason I can't post pics from other sites here (I'm no compuker expert, but I'm guessing it's got something to do with security levels or some #$%*) so I'll post this link so you guys can see what I mean by "SS Ute".

I don't like those big "Duelies". Not wanting to upset anyone here who think they're cool, I just think they're totally impractical, fuel is a lot more expensive here, and trying to park one of those things would be a nightmare. Don't get me wrong, I love big bikes, but big trucks are pretty much useless here. Utes, on the other hand, are great tools, you can fit a couple of bikes in the back, and they drive and handle like cars. (we actually race them too) 

A lot of you guys wouldn't know this, having been brought up to embrace the Walt Disney version of history that has taken over America since the 1950's, but the pickup truck was invented in Australia, and the "Ute" is just about the perfect vehicle. (if you have to drive a car) The Ford Ranger (when it was made by Mazda) was a great little Ute, but in recent years Ford have decided to build an "American" version (albeit in Thailand) and of course, it has to be bigger, if not better. Pisses me off.............. ;D

That's a great looking Ute, albeit a little small for Texas.  I don't like the duelies either, my Tacoma is a good size.

The small size is made up for by the 6 liter V8 Steve, they go pretty hard .... 8)

I really dont like putting gas in my dually, but you really can't pull a 20,000 lb trailer with a ranger  >:( I have tried to work out of an s-10, didn't work out so well

El camino  they stopped making those in the us around 1987

We have had a few el camino's when I was a kid we had a 1970 elcamino with a 70 GTO judge front end on it and the 383 out of it

Ha ha, no, you can't pull a 20,000 pound trailer with a Ranger, the engine's smaller than the one in my Triumph! ;D

I've got some birdschidt on my tank (parked it under a tree) but I don't lnow if it was a pirate's parrot or not? Kinda pisses me off wondering though......... ;D

Ummm, Mark is right Steve, the Pontiac was actually designed and built in Australia. It was funny at the time, we all liked the look of that car, but it was made in left hand drive only for the US market.

I guess it's a bit like my Honda Goldwing 1200 Interstate, made in the good old US of A? I wonder if I can Join the Hell's Angels? I'm pretty sure their rules state that I have to ride an American made bike? Nah, I better not, they'd only slow me down............. (which would piss me off) ;D

I'm pissed off that my ebay auction ends in 2 hours, and after 10 days, several questions answered and several prospective buyers coming around to see it, (and all saying how much they like it) still no fcuking bids!

Luckily, I've got a plan B. A nice bloke from Queensland has offered me a half finished CB750K1 restoration project, plus some cash. He's done all the "Heavy Lifting" (engine rebuild, frame painted, wheels, brakes and forks rebuilt etc) I've seen some pics, and all I need to do is paint a tank, do some wiring, and install some more NOS parts that he's supplying. I kinda hope now that I don't get a bid! Cheers, Terry. ;D
