Ebay sellers who screw you over and then get upset with you when you leave them negative feedback piss me off. I did the "buy it now" and paid for a set of Goodridge braided brake hoses on November the 15th from an Ebay seller in Britain, and they finally arrived yesterday. When I checked the Tracking details, they hadn't been sent until 18 days after I paid for them, on December the 3rd.
I left a negative, and immediately he sent me a PM saying that he'd emailed me on the 16th to say that he had to get special hoses made up to pass Australian regulations, blah blah blah, and he hadn't charged me extra for this wonderful service, and he'd sent out the "special" hoses as soon as they'd been especially made for me, so would I please remove the unfair and unwarranted negative feedback please?
Hmmnnnn, I then wasted the next few minutes going thru both my EBay PM's, personal email, and even checked the hoses for any "special tags" as he indicated in his Ebay PM, only to discover there was no evidence that he'd attempted to contact me, and nothing special about the hoses, they were just as described in his auction, so I told him so.
He then PM'd me again apologetically, offering me $20.00 to change my feedback? $20.00? Is that what integrity goes for nowadays? Man that pisses me off! (and no, I didn't take the 20 bucks......................)
