Thanks Fcuk for that Pete, it hasn't arrived here yet, but it's getting closer. And yep, the Classic is in three weeks, I've sold my Suzuki GS1000 but the bloke who bought it said I can keep it until after the Classic, what a nice bloke! Geez I hope I don't drop it.............

And I might be coming over to Adelaide the weekend before the Classic to pick up a CX650 engine for my CX500, but I probably won't catch up with you until the Classic.

Sorry to hear about your problems with old farts in Fords Dave, when I had my XY GS Futura with 4V 351 Clevo, manualised C6 box and 9" Detroit Locker diff, I decided to get a "Brock" 3 inch single system, to go with my new HM headers.

I came to collect it, and they fired it up, and it was so quiet, it sounded like a fcuking Toyota! I said, "No, I want it to sound like a fcuking V8, not a fcuking 4 banger poofter car!" and the guy said, yeah, but we're also a licensed EPA testing station, so we can't do loud exhaust systems. Fcuking prikc could have told me before he installed it!

I had to take it to another exhaust bloke to remove one of the mufflers, so another 100 bucks on top of the 800 I paid the first arsehole! Now that pissed me right off.............. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I put a Marving exhaust on my CBX.  I didn't realise it complies with European standards.  My wife laughed & said the bike now sounds like a Honda car.  That pissed me off!

Les Miserables pisses me off. It's frickin' hot, I'm frickin' bored, so I drive over to the cinema to watch this "masterpiece", and it's not in frickin' French? WTF? I mean, why don't they just call it "The Miserable"?

Apart from that, it wasn't bad, except they had to sing every frickin' line, which kind of cheapened the whole thing and pissed me off some more, but I'm sure the fans will love it.

Also, during the almost 3 hour running time, I ate a huge bucket of popcorn and washed it down with an equally large bucket of coke, and I got the farts, which turned out after a short test to be quite loud, and also, quite smelly.

There were an elderly couple two seats down from me, so I had to wait until the "revolution" scene where they were firing cannons at the barricade before I could "open my lunchbox" and relieve myself of the buildup of noxious gases that had mysteriously invaded my colon.

The old folks were on to me though, and were fanning themselves to dissipate the stench and muttering about "popcorn munching pigs ruining their entertainment", but I just ignored them, with tears running down my cheeks, and another couple "shooshed" them, which made me laugh harder to myself......... Not a bad day, really. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Last year I busted a rib when I got slammed while windsurfing. It pissed me off that I was about 500 metres from shore and no other craft around to assist. Managed to sail back, in pain. No one on shore to help me derig, pissed off some more. Got home and the missus dragged me off to hospital just to make sure the rib was busted. Pissed me off that I had to wait 2 hours for x-ray then another hour before being told what I already knew pissed me off some more. Treatment? None. Just take pain killers.
Now this is where I really got pissed off. The pain killers killed some of the pain but gave me really bad constipation - apart from pissing me off some more it was a literal PIA. Mentioned my problem to my missus and she, being a retired math teacher, said I should work it out with a pencil and if that don't work use logs. No sympathy there.
Binned the pain killers and put up with the rib pain after getting a powerful laxative from the chemist (drug store). Was really pissed too off that I had to give up riding and windsurfing for a few weeks.

I must've had the same pain meds when I broke a couple of my ribs a couple years back. Other than the constipation what pissed me off was that I almost lost my job over it. The accident didn't happen at work but I had to take a med leave of absence for a week to heal and company policy is that before returning to work from a med leave I had to have a drug test.

No problem there except the company Dr I went to for the drug screen wasn't the same Dr that prescribed the pain killers which happened to show up as a narcotic in the piss test. The company Dr said "hmmm, looks like we have a problem here" I had a lot of explaining to do.

Ha ha, I had a "Rhinoplasty" in December 1995, after the specialist discovered that my nose had been broken at least 3 times. (I didn't know that I'd ever broken it, but I did get in a lot of fights when I was a youngster..........)

After the op, the doc told me that while he was up my nose he found some polyps in my sinuses, so he chopped them out while he was at it, but told me not to do any heavy lifting or other strenuous activity for 2 weeks, lest I burst an artery in my schnoz.

The morning of the 14th day, I woke up with a blood nose. I couldn't make it stop, so I went to the hospital, and after a couple of hours, they were able to stop it. That afternoon I went around to buy some aluminum, and bumped into a friend who'd just bought a really nice CNC mill. He invited me over to take a look.

While i was there he showed me the rotary table he'd bought, and he said, "I bet you can't pick it up". Without thinking, I did just that, and placed it on the bed of the mill. Suddenly blood started to spray out of my nose, at high pressure, so I pinched my nose, but the blood then poured out of my mouth. Great.

My mate's wife is a nurse, so she took me inside and put a "Tupperware" bowl under me while she tried pinching and icing, but to no avail. I half filled the bowl in a very short time. She called my doctor who ordered an ambulance, which took me to the nearest hospital. On the trip they gave me a 2 litre milkshake container which was about 3/4 full by the time I reached the hospital.

On arrival, the only doctor on duty (Christmas season) was an intern just out of medical school, who was extremely nervous. I told him to ring the specialist who'd done the op, but he was too frightened, it seemed. Eventually when nothing else worked and there wasn't all that much blood left in me, he rang the specialist who told him to insert a saline filled catheter up my nose and into the sinus, then fill it with saline, to block the tear in the artery.

He stuck it up too far, and it hit my gag reflex and I started to choke, so I pulled it back out, and we started to wrestle with each other. All of a sudden, the bleeding stopped, and we looked at each other in surprise, where I'd pulled it as he was inflating it, was where the artery had burst. Woohoo!

I laid on the gurney in the hallway of the hospital all night and didn't get any pain meds or food, or even a blanket, all night. Next morning I was transferred by ambulance to the Cabrini Private Hospital in Prahran. This is a Catholic hospital, and is so swanky there's a wine list with the meal menu! God loves his little Catholics, so I would have been well catered for, if I could eat with this thing up my nose, which of course, I couldn't. I averaged one meal per day for the eight days that I was there, but I was on morphine for most of my stay, so I was happy.

In the last couple of days before they released me, (on Christmas Eve) they'd cut me back to Panadeine Forte. I don't remember if I had a crap while I was at the hospital, but I remember waking up on Christmas morning thinking that a big ol' crap would be the order of the day.

I sat on the can, and started squeezing one out. I'll never forget that pain, it was like giving birth to house brick constructed from rusty razor blades! OMFG! I Had to shove the toilet roll in my mouth so the wife and kids wouldn't hear my pitiful screams, it was like being raped by an elephant who was thoughtful enough to use a barbed wire condom! I was told later that it was the Panadeine, so I avoid it nowadays at all costs. Giving birth to a spiked watermelon on Christmas Day really pisses me off! ;D

Okey Dokey, here's the short list:

1986 Honda GL1200 Interstate. I did ride it in, but the engine is toast. More to follow,
1971 CB750 Cafe Racer. Due for an engine rebuild.
1980 Suzuki GS1000. Sold, but new owner is happy for me to ride it until he collects it. Honda 1983 XR500. Not mine, just doing some work on it,
1980 Honda CX500. "Barn Find". Sat in PO's garage for 14 years after he fell off it. and
2007 Triumph Rocket III Classic. Fcuking huge truck.

Not a lot really, but enough to keep me going. I fcuked up big time when I bought the Goldwing and bought a good used (27,000 miles) engine from the US for only 600 dollars, which has now cost me just over 2000 bucks with shipping, and a heap of bullschidt fees, and the hire of a pickup truck to go pick it up tomorrow. Luckily, I only paid 400 bucks for the bike, so if I get this monster back on the road for under 3000, I'll still be happy, I need a super comfy long distance tourer.

While I've been waiting for the GW engine to arrive, I've done stacks of work to the CX500, it's going great now, and is quite "nippy" with the 34mm Mikuni carbs and straight thru pipes. I'm driving over to Adelaide to collect a rebuilt 650 engine in two weeks, which I'll install in it, and with the carbs and pipes, it'll put out around the same BHP as a CB750, which will be a lot of fun to ride.

I'm picking up my K6 (in pieces) from Radam as he's moving to New Zealand next month, so that'll be a winter project, probably to sell at the end of the year. At the same time I'll rebuild my K1 engine, it still runs, but is tired, and leaks a bit of oil now.

What's my new years resolution? To finish what I start, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Thanks Pete, I've often thought about writing a book, but I have the attention span of a goldfish, so this is about all I can manage. If I do though, I'd be honored if you'd be my manager, providing that included a ride on your CB1100R? ;D
How did I know you'd say that...... ::) ;D
I'll tell you what I'll do, I'll allow you to put a pic of it in the book.... ;D
That should piss you off.

;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
