Ha ha, sorry Larry, I'd forgotten about the beautiful CZ! Cheers, Terry, :D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

An answer like that pisses me off ... ::)  Its the buyers duty to make offers and thats what happened, its the sellers responsibility to ship the item correctly, he clearly didn't. Something like this just happened to me and luckily Paypal kicked his arse.

People that can't be bothered to pack something properly after being paid really piss me off....

+1, I understand Mick's point of view, but the two "combatants" were both too cheap to consider insurance, and that really was the beginning of the end.

Of course Luap might have kicked it before he put it in the box too. That happened to me around the same time that Mick was posting about his damaged ebay cylinder head, but I just put in an Ebay claim and I had 3/4 of what I paid the seller refunded, and I kept the tank, which I can easily repair, but sadly I'll ruin the nice OEM paint in the process.

Come to think of it, I've had several tanks sent from the US over the last 10 years or so, and most have arrived with dents in them, and that pisses me off! ;D

Terry, your tank is ready for shipping. You may use it for a bit then pass it over to Retro. Sent with love from America. XOXOXOXO

Yeah mate, it was the CX tank, I've pushed most of the dent out from inside, but being too cheap to buy the proper tool I've cracked the paint, but no biggie, my son is keen to paint another custom tank for his old Pa, he's teaching himself how to pin stripe (with a brush, not a roll of tape) so I'll see what he comes up with, I got plenty of money for paint back from the seller. ;D

There's a local auction every Saturday night a few miles down the road from here. I was checking out their web site to see if they had anything interesting and lo and behold there's going to be a bunch of Honda gas tanks being auctioned tomorrow and what pisses me off is that I don't know what tank goes to what bike.

Geez you're quick Joe, are you stalking me again? C'mon mate, that restraining order is still valid.... Ha ha, hey I posted pics of a tank I "split" to knock a big dent out in the "What did you do to your bike today" thread a couple of years ago when I restored the blue K2 if you want to use your investigative skills mate, I don't think I've got any pics of the "trapdoor fix"? Cheers, Terry. ;D

Installing the replacement engine in my Goldwang (yes, I said wang.........) pisses me off. Man, what a job!

To get the 250 pound monster into the frame you have to remove one timing belt and one pulley, so not having a workshop manual (because they're for fags........) I have to guess that I got the valve timing right, there are pipes and hoses everywhere, more engine mounting bolts than you can poke a stick at, you've got to "jiggle" the output shaft splines into the tailshaft's socket, (ever tried "jiggling" 250 pounds of engine and gearbox? It aint easy.......) there are vacuum hoses between the carbs and the engine that have to be connected, then the radiator, coolant hoses, exhaust, carbs, wiring, etc. Fark!

I've still got 3 or 4 hours work ahead of me tomorrow before I can hit the magic button, which really pisses me off, if it was a CB750 I'd be riding it by now! Cheers, Terry. ;D

People whinging about jiggling a 250lbs engine and gearbox piss me off.  Try jiggling a 700+lb gearbox to get it to line up with the clutch that pisses me off.  The clutch that weighs 150lbs that had to be lifted by hand onto the engine because some tight arse prick won't spend the money on a clutch jack to save his workers backs which pisses me off.  A back that was already sore from spending 3 hours hunched under the wheel arch of a truck doing brakes and lifting wheel hub/brake drum combo that weighs in the region of 150lbs, that pisses me off.  After all this I come home and my back it too sore to even throw the leg over, now that not only pisses me off, it pisses the missus off.  When the missus gets pissed off I don't get my bacon and eggs cooked for me Sunday morning, which pisses me off.  Then I go out to the shed and try to go for a ride but I can't even pick the bike up off the side stand, now that really pisses me off.  So then seeing as I can't go anywhere and can't move well enough to do anything in the shed, I have to go back inside to my pissed off missus which pisses me off.  Then she says we are going to her mothers place....  What was I talking about?  Oh yeah, good luck with your goldwang Terry, they can be a b!tch to work on. ;D

Road Sofa, actually.  Mine has a sidecar, so it's a Road Sectional. :-D

Terry, be sure to roll that engine over by hand a few times before hitting the magic button.  Bending a valve or cracking a piston because that belt is outa time will REALLY piss ya off!  I can send ya the timing instructions from the shop manual if ya need 'em.

Pisses me off that after Terry's rant, I can't admit to owning a Goldwing shop manual!!

I am politely politically deaf, I am religious deaf as well.

I get pissed of whenever things get political on the threads because Terry and Mick (frigging Aussies)seen to know more about the American machine than...most Americans.

I'd like to be blind to it all, but I'm afraid I'll wake up and they'll have passed laws that take more of my rights away.  I'm not cool with that, so I feel like I need to keep an eye on them.

And that pisses me off.
