It is getting to the stage where the cops will fine you if you fart out of tune.  The missus and I damn near got cleaned up by a car carrier today when we were out on the bike.  All because some wanker cop decided to pull someone over for an involuntary donation on a section of road where there was no room for them to get off the road.  Had I not realised when I did that for the truck to pass the dickhead he would have to occupy the same space on the road as I was going to be in, then I highly doubt I would be here to write this.  When we passed there would have been barely a foot between us and both of us would have been doing 100kph.  I was half tempted to turn around and give the cop an earful for being such a cockhead but I knew that would only result in me getting a fine for some bull #$%*.

There must be a brainless cop out your way somewhere Andrew. I was heading to Brissie from Agnes Water some time back, there were road works  just north of the Maryborough exit and a little side track for traffic to get around the road works, some bright spark cop decided to pull someone over in the side track, there was no room to pull over so the cop literally blocked the highway  !!, there was a loaded semi behind me and i could see that he {and all of us} were getting pissed off. The truckie got out of his rig and made his way down to this dickhead cop and started tearing him a new ass-hole, everyone was beeping their horns until the dumb cop told the guy he had pulled over, to move on, common sense definitely left the building on that occasion....

Those coppas are out there....many years ago I got pulled over on my first CB and defected for noise (in those days removing baffles was frowned upon, doesn't seem to be a problem these days....eg HD's!) - coppa slapped the yellow canary (defect sticker) which was about 6" x 6" on my headlight......just at sunset, with about 20km to get home.....when I suggested it wasn't the smartest place to stick the sticker, he said "that's your problem", so I had to ride home with barely a headlight..................that pissed me off!
A couple of years ago driving back from the WSB I was doing about 140kph passing a B-double (double length semi trailer) in a 100kph zone, looked in the mirror to find it full of red and blue flashing lights, I had to keep going at that speed to get past the truck and back to the correct side of the road, where I pulled over in the grass (slowly to avoid a chain collision with the truck and other traffic following) and the coppa pulled up alongside of me, window down and told me to get the F out of the way....he was pulling the truck over and wasn't interested in me! But in doing so he had blocked the entire road in both directions in his depserate attempt to get the truck - there were cars going everywhere and he was copping much abuse......but I wasn't pissed off....I just got the hell out of there!!

My son just had his first run in with another A-hole cop. My young bloke was at a local shopping center, he came out to find his windscreen had been smashed by some small minded clown, it was cracked behind the rear view mirror and into the passenger side of the screen. He was pulled over on his way home by a cop that "pulled him over because he was on his P's" {provisional license}and proceeded to fine him for a broken windscreen and defect his car, even after explaining that it had happened no more that 10 minutes ago and we had a spare windscreen at home. I wrote a little letter to the Sargent at the local station, a friend who is also a cop said to do this as it was unfair that my son was booked, the crack didn't impede his view and he didn't deem it unsafe . The Sargent was also an a-hole and basically told me to piss off, I told him that my son had learned a valuable lesson today in his first experience with the police, that they are a-holes that can't be trusted, I also congratulated him on his lack of interest in the public opinion of his organization. On a side note, my son {now 20 years old}  is a professional sportsman and is on his way to England under contract to play County Cricket, he is a very quite young fella {unlike his Dad } with the world at his feet, he was treated like an ass for no reason. Its no wonder the Police have an image problem.....

This will probably piss most of you off, but for some reason cops like me, and usually let me off. I've been let off way more infringements than I've been booked, even when I've obviously been doing the wrong thing.

Even when I got pulled over when I was doing 215 KPH (by my speedo) in a 60 zone on my learners permit (with no "L Plate" displayed) the cop who'd chased me for almost 10 Km (I didn't know he was there, I shouldn't have pulled the baffle out of my RC 4 into 1 pipe, OOPS!) eventually reduced it to 130 in a 100 zone and I only got an 80 dollar fine.

I don't know what it is, I'm just pleasant to them, and treat them with respect (I wouldn't want to do their job in a million years) and they pretty much leave me alone. Even when I broke down last week on the 'Wang, the cop helped me push it out of harms way and offered to call the RACV for me? I can't be pissed off about that! Cheers, Terry.

I played cricket for years Terry, lots of cops, both uniform and detective played as well, met some great people, just seems that the a-holes {i have a badge and can do what i like} seem to stand out way above the rest...  I got pulled up recently by a motorcycle cop and let off {speeding}...   He was a nice guy....

We tend to forget about the good work that the cops do day in, day out, and concentrate on the "arsehole cops" stereotype, when most of us wouldn't put our hands up to do their jobs. Cheers, Terry.

I certainly have a lot of respect for them...some of my friends are cops.....but I wouldn't want their job for anything...in fact if I was a cop, I'd probably be one of those that piss me off...haha.
Anyone who thinks it's fun to go to a house at 3am and tell the parents that their lad has been smashed to pieces on a road somewhere ain't in the real world.....sh*t of a job.

Spot on Pete, when i was a kid, I was brought up to believe that being polite was mandatory, but nowadays, it appears that being the tiniest bit civil is strictly optional.

I spent a couple of days in court last year (fighting a losing battle over a speed camera fine) and I was shocked by just how many loud mouthed scumbags there were hanging around the courts.

If I was a cop I reckon I'd last 5 minutes before I started shooting these pricks just because I could, which is another good reason why I'd never be a cop, if they gave me a gun, I don't know if I'd have the necessary restraint to keep it holstered..........

The 'ol mate called in this morning to bring back some tools that he'd borrowed the other day.
He was looking a bit green around the gills so I asked him what the problem was - besides sex and finance.   

Well he'd necked a full bottle of Wild Turkey on top of a few gallons of beer last night and ended up in the swimming pool.
That was all ok until he saw his new IPhone on the bottom that his missus had just given him for his birthday.

That was pissing him off and his missus is cranky too.

Tell him to take it back to the shop Mick, as long as water isn't pouring out of it, they'll probably give him a new one. My son dropped his in the bath, so took it back the next day and they just gave him a new one. I bet they were pissed off when they opened his old one up!

There's lots of brainless cops around here, this area is a training ground for the young #$%*stables.  It was at the Southern end of the roadworks just North of Maryborough where it happened.  The stupid part is if he had carried on about 1km down the road he could have pulled him up in a rest area, well out of harms way.  In general the coppers around here are alright and fairly down to earth, but the young morons who are trying to be Starsky and Hutch and are trying to big note themselves on the traffic squad, they piss me off
