My mate Dobbo hit a wombat in his Mini and it ended up on it's roof Mick, I never thought to ask him if he bled his brakes while he had the opportunity? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Oi, are you taking the piss out of my mini?  ;D
We bled the brakes on my '69 Cooper S a few weeks , no probs with them, but it is later than that manual you found.
It pisses me off that I don't have enough time to drive it more than I do.

It's amazing that the wombat didn't total it mate.  ;D

Back in the early 70's, I bought Morris Minor for 60 bucks after I got my licence back for pissed driving on the H4 and being recalcitrant with the coppers.  ;D

Well this ol' Morrie had a cat bar on it made out of 50mm RHS.
It was that gutless that getting out of first gear was bonus.  ;D
She was a side valve job and when the Welsh plug behind the head started leaking, I jammed a tennis ball between the head and the firewall which fixed it up for many more pleasurable miles in first gear. ;D
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Dragged out of bed by some bloody wog on the phone - thinks he can fix what's wrong with my Windows computer.

I tell the fool it's a Mac and hang up.

Here's what's wrong with my Windows computer - it runs XP and it turns into a pumpkin next spring when Bill stops all support.

Fix that ya clown!

Don't worry Mick, it totalled it alright, it was an EX-Mini after the Wombat expedition, and Dobbo's one and only Mini. Of course, being the guy he is, he moved on to Volkswagens, and had several Beetles, a Kombie (he drove me from Bairnsdale to Melbourne one Easter weekend, what a friggin' nightmare, 50 MPH flat out and 6 hours to do 180 miles with all those Kunts in Caravan's making the trip even more unbearable) and he still has the Karmann Ghia "project" he bought in 1978, when he had a hairline, and I had a waistline...........

I guess he just likes gutless #$%*tboxes, but he's a tin arse, recently he bought an almost mint 1958 Beetle from a little old lady who's owned it since new, for 500 bucks............ ;D

Fcuken Bunnings piss me off.  ;D
I had to fix another irrigation line that had a cracked tee from a tree root.
There's 1 1/2 poly pipe running around the block so out with the shovel in the stinken sun and start diggin'.

No worries, got a nice big hole dug around the culprit and unscrewed it all.
So off to fcuken Bunnings to buy a new inch and a half poly tee.

Yeah sure thing.  ;D
They've got a 1 1/4 through to 2" but don't stock inch and a fcuken half.  ;D
But they've got 1 1/2 pipe adapters and nothing to screw 'em into.
How goods that.
Fcuk Bunnings.  ;D

Not ready to give it up yet, I rounded up one of their hairy legged Sunday assistants with this poof looking streaked hairdo and nuts and bolts hanging off his ears.

What a waste of space that fcuka was.  ;D
He nearly had a cerebral hemorrhage when I asked the question.

Anyway, it's all good now after a bit of improvising.
That just fcuked my alcohol free Sunday up and it's all fcuken Bunnings fault.  ;D
Fcuk Bunnings, they piss me off.  ;D
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

When I was in the Army I had a young Army Reserve bloke working for me. He got a job as a Postie and one day he and one of his hoon Postie mates were having a race on a wet road when he hit a man hole cover and threw his Honda CT110 down the road.

They both wrote statements that he was just riding normally and Australia Post paid him heaps of bux for compensation (he broke his hip and his elbow) and he was pensioned off from Aussie Post, the little prick. He works for the Public Service now, and was given preference over the other applicants because he'd been injured in the course of his duties. It still pisses me off that I know that he got away with hooning, and all of us taxpayers are paying for his new house. This one always cracks me up when I watch it. ;D

Toothaches piss me off.  I went out to a mates place this arvo to do some work on his missus' car.  When I got home I sat down with a glass of cordial and a box of shapes.  About 4 biscuits in a chunk of tooth fell off and I instantly had shocking pain right up the left side of my face.  Now I'm sitting with a heatpack on the side of my face after having 2 panadine fortes.  Hungry as hell and don't know how I'm going to eat some dinner.  I'm also out of beer, looks like I might have to have a scottish liquid dinner  ;D ;D should help ease the pain too  ;D ;D ;D

I bought my new (old) Yamaha FJ1200 today, and dropped it before it was an hour old.

I'd done around 40 miles without incident and it was running great, but around 500 metres from home there's a curve with some yellow "ripple strips" on it, and as it was lightly raining it was enough to momentarily lose traction, and I threw it down the road.

Luckily there was no other traffic around, and the adrenalin was pumping, so I quickly picked the 560 pound monster up and rode it home. No major damage to the bike, I scraped the engine cover on the RHS of the crank, but the brake pedal punched a hole thru the clutch cover which caused some oil to run out, and of course fuel pissed out of the carbs. My beautiful stainless steel "Staintune" muffler is a tad scraped, but I think I can polish the smaller scratches out. The bar weight on the RHS handlebar is quite badly scuffed too, but I can't see any other damage so far.

I came off pretty well too, I was wearing my Triumph Jacket which has CE armour on the elbows so while my right elbow is sore there's nothing broken, my left knee is sore and has a bit of a scuff mark on it. (not sure how I did that as I dropped it on it's right side) And I ripped arse out of my work pants. I've already got a bad back, so I jolted that too, so when I got home I dropped lots of pain killers and anti inflammatories and a couple of hours after my "get off" I'm only a tad stiff and sore.

Oh well, the bike cost me nothing (my recent poker machine winnings paid for it completely, and there might be enough left over to pay for the parts I need to repair it) and it's infinitely repairable, so I think I'll survive, but I am pissed off that my run of good luck has ended so dramatically. I'm trying to remember when I last dropped a bike, and I don't think that's happened in the last 20 years, or so?

I think I'll sue the local council for installing a dangerous "ripple strip" which has caused me to crash my immacullate bike that I just paid $10K for, not to mention my own horrific, life threatening injuries! If anyone would like to start a fund to help me buy 25 year old Grants Whisky, er, sorry, I mean FJ1200 parts, please feel free............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Far out Terry, you were lucky to not have more serious injuries....to you and the bike! Hopefully you will be repaired as easy as the bike.
But this of course means that I will NOT be following you around PI in January. I wouldn't want to get caught up in any oil slicks or flying bike bits through turn 1.  :P
Take care mate.
