Those painted parts look great Mick, I painted my forks and caliper brackets with the Duplicolor engine enamel and the calipers with Duplicolor caliper paint and like Eric mentioned, baked 'em at 200 deg C for a few hours, and they came up pretty good.

I got hosed over by Sirius in Canada, the theiving bunch of priicks took my money after advertising 14 sets of caliper kits in stock and then emailed me to say that they were temporarily out of stock, so I left them negative feedback and then bought the kits and pistons from Georgefix for less money, (the pistons were only $22.50 each) and had them in 7 days, which I thought was pretty bloody good.

I didn't know about the Toyota pistons, but I'll remember that in the future, are they stainless Mick? Cheers, Terry.

They're chromed steel pistons Terry.
That ABS brake mob are one of the larger distributors for the Protex brand.
The part no I used is 090P0307.

There's a Caliper Piston pdf at this link which is a handy reference from time to time.
I tried to attach the pdf file here but it must be too big and keeps spitting the dummy which pisses me off.

The reporters at the Olympics are really pissing me off. The other day a US womens luge rider got edged out of a bronze medal by just .004 sec, the athlete was visibly upset and fighting tears yet the a..hole reporter wouldn't leave her alone and kept badgering her with questions about "how does it feel" until she broke down in tears. Then yesterday Bode Miller won a bronze in skiing achieving a very personal goal in the process yet the reporter kept badgering him about the death of his brother earlier last year until he too broke down in tears. I'm not an athlete but it's not hard to imagine how it would feel to work so hard and then get out by by a fraction of a sec or how it feels to loose a loved one and I don't need some chump reporter ripping the heart out of these athletes to find out.

I understand that when you rise to a level in sports as these athletes have that getting your privacy invaded comes with the territory but gee whiz these reporters should have the sense to ask their basic questions then get the mic and camera out of their face and leave them alone. At least give these athletes a day or so to collect their thoughts and get their wits about them before asking questions that really aren't any of my business anyhow.

I got home from work today and figured I had better get to fitting the upper control arm bushes to my Mazda van.  I've had the bushes for a couple of months now and I've sold the van now.  The fella takes it over this weekend so I figured I'd procratinated enough.  After nearly 3 hours of wrestling I finally had the arms off the car.  All I can say is there is a special place in hell reserved, alongside Hitler, for the arsehole who designed this #$%*ing thing.  You have to dismantle half the #$%*ing car to get the piece of #$%* apart.  I was very tempted to take the mattock to the #$%*ing thing. The bit that pisses me off the most is tomorrow I'm going to have to put the #$%*ing thing back together again.

The bloody strap wore through the side of it with all of the rocks and dirt caked in there.

We all enjoyed the John Candy movie, "Cool Runnings" though, so we were hoping the Jamaicans would win, just to piss off the rest of the world. I heard on the radio that the rest of the world were so inspired by the Jamaicans deciding to compete that they donated so much money that the Jamaicans actually asked them to stop sending money!

i drive a truck all day,and its more and more lately i have to lean on my horn at a green light to get the car in front to realise its green,im not impatient,im cool,and never get road rage,even if im two three or four cars back and five seconds pass i lean on the horn,this can only mean that those cars in front of me also arent paying attention?some of our traffic light timings only let a few cars through at a time,it #$%*en #$%*s me off that #$%*s arent aware of their surroundings as they drive along let alone the fact they have a green light directly in front of them and havent noticed it?it pisses me right off when they power away and i get it red!
