Mo, hate to bear worse news, I rode home after my swingshift job in low 50's, high 40's weather.
I know your pain though.   Lived many a year with what I consider real winters.



And as to where I went.... layoffs, lost my house, terminal care for a dear friend, massively long deep depression, death of a childhood friend, 3 moves - involving losing most of what I owned, and a few grey hairs.


But i'm MUCH better now. found a good job, both kids are happy at school, still happily married, the bike is still running strong and the weather is great.
Now if I could only get a house, mill and lathe.

I'm sick, freakin bad weather has forced me to stay indoors for so long now that my immune system is shot. One small outing in public and I've got a sore throat, fever and blinding headache. Can't work, can't do anything on the bike, just loathing this. That's what I'm pissed off about today.

Ooher, and priicks that deliberately light bushfires piss me off too.

The fire in Morwell should be out in the next few days, but the smoke is everywhere, and there are houses only a few hundred yards from the open cut coal mine where the fire's burning, so with the still hot weather there, (and many houses aren't airconditioned) life must be freaking awful!

When they catch that turd, they should lock him up in solitary with a coal fired heater and no chimney...........

Just got back from hospital after having a dickoscopy. Doc says nothing untoward was found, the bleeding i had seems to have come from a couple of weak blood vessels in/on/near my prostate, After effect is, if I need to relieve myself, its like I'm pi$$ing razor blades. That pisses me off no end.
Any, I can relax now, as there's nothing to worry about.

I got my ticket to go and see the Rolling Stones in Adelaide on March 22nd but I have to be in and out and back to work pretty quickly.

So those #$%*s have jacked the price to just under a thousand bucks return over that period.
You can leave earlier that week and return later the following week for just over 300 bucks return.
The #$%*en dirty robbing mongrol thieving #$%*s.

So anyway, the upside is that my Mum has just had her 74th birthday and my brother and sister are going to take her to see the geriatric rockers and she's like a kid at Xmas now. 

But Jetstar can still get #$%*ed and they piss me off.

Virgin are about 800 bucks Mick flying via Bris/Melb/Adelaide.
They don't fly directly from Darwin to Adelaide unfortunately so #$%*en Jetstar have the monopoly there and have got us by the short 'n curlies which pisses me off.

Once I put a set of these bloody big Apehangers on just for a laugh and the ol' boss reckoned that my bike looked like a billy goat gone wrong.

Habanero Chillies piss me off. I've been growing a few plants lately, and even though I'm not real keen on spicy tucker, I bought a huge chillie plant at the local hardware store for 10 bucks, complete with about a dozen ripe chillies hanging off it.

I had a couple of drinks last night and thought seriously about trying one, but not knowing anything about Habanero's I did an interweb search to get some edification, and I'm bloody glad I did. Whereas a Jalapeno is around 3000-8000 on the Scoville scale, a Habanero is anywhere between 100,000 and 580,000!
