I just don't know whether to be pissed off or not today, but just to keep the flag flyin', fcuk it, I will.
The day started off at about 5 o'clock with a #$%*en sore back so the only way to fix that #$%*a up is to get some blood flowin' through it.
Out I went and fired up the John Deere to mow the grass which got me in the sh1t immediately with the family and neighbours.
So after that was done, I meandered down to the shed to do some work on the H4's.
I pulled a couple of old frames out of the dungeon to drop the nasty 836 into only to find that it wasn't gonna be that easy.
Fcuk it.
The first has rusted through the bottom of the frame and it was rooted.
So the second one had the passenger foot peg mounts twisted around and outa shape like a Drag Queen on acid.
Out with the Makita angle grinder and cut the #$%*s off.
What I did was to hack the rusted #$%*ed frame and get some goodies from that to make one good bastard.
There's gonna be some welding and grinding to do but that's just how it goes.
Over the last coupla weeks, I got the Gold Wang forks rebuilt after agonising over the paint finish and decided to do the front hub and H4 rear hub with Duplicor Alu eng paint.
I shoved in in the lathe and polished 'em with some Maguirers Hi Tech pull ya pecka polish.
They came up not too bad for the bush.
I'm gonna machine some sleeves to push up inside the rear footpeg holders before they're welded just to keep the whole show lined up.
The ID of the frame tube for the footpegs is about 3/4" and the closest diameter of round bar I've got is 1".
Pissed off about that.
I think that covers it now.
Here's the Wang forks with the Duplicolor Alu paint and Hard Chromed tubes.
Anyone for some head.
