As of about 2:15 PM tomorrow arvo, me and Charlie are gunna be batchelor boys for 5 weeks.
The missus and youngest daughter are flying to Berlin to see Oma (Grandma) who's starting to get on a bit now but she's going not too bad for her age.

So me and the Sausage Dog are holding the fort in the meantime.
I think that we should be ok by ourselves.

Come to think of it, a Pizza and Beer diet never killed anyone that I know of.
Charlie doesn't mind a chomp on bit of Pizza occasionally and he's not that keen on cold beer so I'll have to look after that department.

I reckon that tomorrow arvo on the way back home from the airport, I'll call into Bunnings and buy one of those blue plastic tarps to put on the lounge room floor.
There's one thing that pisses me off is getting bits of carpet stuck on the tyres of the Honda 4.

Somebody once told me that what you don't know won't hurt you.
So if the missus don't know, then it's all good.
But if the missus does finds out, this batchelor boy is gunna be a dead fcuking duck.  ;D

  The bit that pisses me off is the amount of Americans who don't own a dictionary.  #$%* all of them seem to understand what an amendment actually is.    ::)   ???

I used my garden hose to force all the blind mullets and used corn surrounding the hole in the ground back into the vent pipe, which promptly blocked the pipe again, so once again the Poo Snake came into play, and I managed to unblock it in record time. (well, I've really no idea what the record is for unblocking a sewer, but I'm sure I was up there in the gold medal category)   

God smiles on his little children though, so after I'd immersed myself in the shower and put on some clean duds I walked out to the letter box to find that the paperwork for my "Club Permit" for my mighty Honda XR500R had arrived, so I raced off to the local VICROADS (DMV) office and got my shiny new "Red Plate". Tomorrow, regardless of the foul weather, I'm going for a ride, and hopefully I won't get too wet and cold and pissed off............... ;D

Hats off to you dude.... I hate doing #$%*ty plumbing jobs. I had to do #$%* like that on a Costa Rican farm only with much more rudimentary tools.

Some good news :

Aer Lingus treated the bereaved parents so well on their sad trip to San Francisco - I am sure they will do even better on the trip home.

A call has gone out to passengers on flights to Ireland this weekend to voluntarily give up seats to help as many friends of the deceased get back home. I have no doubt that this will be heeded.

Well, the girls have flown out of Darwin on the Singapore leg of their flight to Tegal Flughafen, Berlin.
It's a 25 1/2 hour journey which includes 18 1/2 hours of seat time on Singapore Airlines.
Just the thought of that pisses me off.

The last time that we flew there was with Air France and I couldn't wait fast enough to drag my arse outa that fcuken aeroplane seat.

So this arvo, me and Charlie headed down to the shed to put the chainsaw back together that I pulled apart last weekend.
It had a busted unshouldered 30 x 8 bolt that needed replacing.
After pulling the the joint apart trying to find a fcuka, all was in vein.
Every fcuken size but 30 x 8.

Half a fcuken dozen stubbies of nice cold beer dissapeared on that mission and the fcuken chainsaw is still in bits on the bench.

So that's it for today.
Charlies got a bowl full of tucker, I'm gunna fire up the barbie and the fcuken chainsaw can get fcuked.  ;D
