My brothers first Whippet was called Coopers and his missus insisted that
he should have a name tag with a phone number attached to his collar incase he fcuked off or became lost or kidnapped.

Anyway, Nige just drilled a hole in a beer bottle top for the name tag and told his missus to organise the phone number tag which pissed her off.  ;D
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Ooher, and I forgot, but fcuking ghosts piss me off too. While I was in Sydney, I stayed at the Sydney Travelodge, room 1322 on the 13th floor. Yep, 13th floor, something you don't see in a lot of hotels................

Anyhoo, it was a typical 1970's hotel room, nothing special, but OK. In the wardrobe were two extra pillows that I didn't need, so I didn't touch them. On the bench below the microwave oven, (next to the wardrobe) I had put a bag of chips on Tuesday night, and they stayed there until Thursday evening, when I ate them. There was nothing else on the bench. (it was quite small)

I went to bed on Thursday night, and woke up (as usual) around 2am to get up for a piss. As I walked past the bench, I noticed that the two pillows that had been in the wardrobe all week, were now stacked on top of each other, in the exact spot where the bag of chips had been sitting for the last two days. I hadn't moved them, in fact I didn't even use the wardrobe. I put the pillows back in the wardrobe, and went back to bed.

It was weird, but it didn't get any weirder, and I eventually went back to a fart laden sleep............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Sadly none Pete, I was on a fairly technical course, so I didn't have a drink all week. The only "spirits" in my room, were in the wardrobe........... ;D

It's Sunday morning, the great race, the Bathurst 1000 that I've watched from start to finish every year for the last 38 years is just about to start, and it'll finish late afternoon, but I'm driving back to Canberra at 11.30 and by the time I get there it'll be all over. I thought about recording it and watching it next Saturday, but it just won't be the same. Oh well, it's been a weird year........... ;D

Maybe you could stop at few country pubs on the way mate for a Bathurst update and a refresher.
Back in the 80's, some mates drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs in an old Ford Panel Van.
So they decided to stop at every pub on the way through and enjoy some good ol' country hospitality.
Problem was that it took 'em 18 days to get to Alice.  ;D
If I was you

All the talk about dog farts reminded me of a buddy many years ago, who had bonded with a large dog. He often spoke of how they would drink beer and eat pickled peppers, and then have a farting contest. ;D

Pub crawls were interesting In Naniamo Pop # about 5000= 23 pubs as adventurous young airmen we tried have a suds in each one never heard of  any one making it, found out the reason  for so many pubs was when the annual "Loggers Sport's Days" happened they needed that many to keep up Ahh back in the bad old days I can still hear the strains of "Yer in luck when you got a McCulloch Chain Saw" something  about you've got power by the hour any how I am supremely pissed off that those days are gone.

Ha ha, good story Mick, I'd love to do that sort of trip in Dad's old Falcon wagon one day, it'd be a great adventure! I heard that Lowndsie won, Good on him, he's a good bloke. I'll have to do some internetting to get a feel for how it went. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Ha ha, that was back in the days when we had a tiger in our tanks, and probably a chicken in every pot Bill, good for us, but not so good for the chickens....  McCulloch chainsaws weren't held in the same reverence here though, unless they were German Dolmars with McCulloch stickers, like my beastly Mac Pro 118cc monster, nut the smaller Macs were pretty much unloved, especially if a Stihl or Partner was available....   ;D

Ahh but this was back in the late 50's early 60's and I think McCulloch was a sponsor to a couple of the events and also I don't remember any thing else being advertised, mind you most of us cringing airmen tried to avoid "loggers sports days" some of those people were harder than nails and we wouldn't have a ghost.

Are you up on the Mountain Brian? Lucky bugger! ;D

Yep, packing up now.
Ev and the young bloke got on the piss last night and where still #$%*ing around trying to make hot air ballons at 3am.
So I'm not getting alot of assistance.

My fault I suppose, mentioned that we used to make em at the Bathurst Bike Race back in the day.
Ev's young fella was half pissed and called bull#$%*, so I knocked one up for the first time in close to thirty years.

By the time the second one was finnished we had a cast of thousands around the camp and I got the #$%*s with every man and his dog asking twenty questions and offering unsolicited advise, went to bed and left them to it.

Happy to slot you onto the guest list for next year it's always a good weekend.

I'm pissed off I've got drive home though, these two would still blow the bag.

Cheers,
Brian

I was pissed though because I saw a "spoiler" on FB about Pedrosa winning before I had a chance to watch the recording. After watching the first few laps I would've never had guessed Pedrosa could've pulled it off. If the race had been much longer even Marquez may have caught up to Lorenzo.

Reckon that Jamie Whincup won't be the only one feeling pissed off after yesterdays effort for twice in a row rolling the dice at Mount Panorama.
Big Dane looks like an angry, pissed off boss at the moment and I reckon that he could almost win the most pissed off look of the year.  ;D

That's true Pete and maybe there was a possibility of 2 Red Bull drivers on the podium if JW hadn't overtaken the Pace Car.
But he reckons that he saw the green light indicating ok to pass.
Hats off to Lowndsey for another brilliant race.
Another 4 Bathurst wins needed to eclipse Brockys record now.
By that time, he'll probably be as old as you and me mate.  ;D
