What miffes me is that I like listening to JW and the kids do too.

Well, the 3 Phase Compressor is loaded into the trailer ready for the big test tomorrow morning at the Humpty Doo workshop for the 415 volt shot in it's clacker.
There's a bit of confidence and apprehension as to whether everything will do what it has to.

I'm hoping that the pressure cut in/cut out switch is still a goer and also a few other components that haven't been worked for several years.
The wiring should be good after some scrutineering, and the phasing is a piece of piss to alter if the poofta spins the wrong way.

So, if I'm pissed off tomorrow morning, this will be the reason why.
If everything goes to plan, then a bloke will have to find something else to be pissed off about.  ;D

Brian, between you and I, I think Mick's going green, and is working on a compressed air engine for the Postie, hence his current infatuation with air compressors.

It's already been done by Tata in India in a small econo-car with zero emissions, but no-one's jumped on the bandwagon with motorcycles yet, and I think Mick is looking at a niche market to launch his new invention.......... ;D

It's gunna be hog tied to the trailer Terry before it's fired up.
I've got a big ratchet strap as well that'll stop it from leaping around the joint.

The Postie will be back on the hit list Brian once this compressor is out of the way.
At least now there's a bit of floor and bench space in the shed.
The new spokes should be here tomorrow or Tuesday and the new tyres and tubes in another week and a bit.
I've taken the knobby tyres off and bought some on road/off road tyres for it.
Providing that nothing else sh1ts itself and needs some attention in the meantime, I should get a good go at it.
But I'm not holding my breath.  ;D

So much for todays big plans.
When I got to the workshop with the compressor in tow for the fire up test, the boys had their boat trailer sitting on jack stands to replace the wheel bearings after one of them spat it when they went to go fishing this morning.
That meant that the 3 phase power outlet wasn't reachable so I canned that idea for today.
Oh well, it's no biggie.

Then when I got home, the missus said that there was a burnt smell coming from the pool pump shed.
So having a look, it became fairly obvious what the smell was.

Yesterday arvo we had a decent downpour of rain and along with that there was a bloody good lightening bolt and some thunder.
Yep, the capacitor on one of the pumps had it's guts blown clean out and I'm guessing that was from the shot of lightening.

I think that the best thing to do now is to crack a coldie and do a bit on the Postie bike and hopefully, that should unpiss me off a bit.
And I might even crank up a John Williamson song as well.  ;D
