So much for todays big plans.
When I got to the workshop with the compressor in tow for the fire up test, the boys had their boat trailer sitting on jack stands to replace the wheel bearings after one of them spat it when they went to go fishing this morning.
That meant that the 3 phase power outlet wasn't reachable so I canned that idea for today.
Oh well, it's no biggie.

Then when I got home, the missus said that there was a burnt smell coming from the pool pump shed.
So having a look, it became fairly obvious what the smell was.

Yesterday arvo we had a decent downpour of rain and along with that there was a bloody good lightening bolt and some thunder.
Yep, the capacitor on one of the pumps had it's guts blown clean out and I'm guessing that was from the shot of lightening.

I think that the best thing to do now is to crack a coldie and do a bit on the Postie bike and hopefully, that should unpiss me off a bit.
And I might even crank up a John Williamson song as well.  ;D

Geez that's a decent zap Mick! When I was driving the new Terrorist back to Canberra today I copped a storm around Euroa, thunder, massive lightning strikes and it rained so hard I couldn't see where the fcuk I was going. I saw the lightning hit the highway twice, I'd never seen that before, and if I wasn't so fcuking brave, I woulda schidt meself.

I don't think John Williamson could write a decent song about driving in a massive storm in a new Terrorist and almost schidting yourself, if not for your natural bravery and derring do, so you'll probably have to listen to that poofter song "Flower on the water", which makes me chuck uncontrollably every time I hear it, what a fcuking waste of body parts that prick is! No offence to you though mate, living up in the Territory, I can understand that you need to keep in touch with your feminine side.......

Anyway, enough about John Williamson, I think the clothes dryer has finished, I had to do some unexpected laundry when I got in tonight, so I better get that packed away before I hit the farter............ ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

what pisses me off royally is finally getting the Vmax all happy to ride after a while stuck in the shed and the bits i've been fiddling with performed admirably (fitted 6 piston hayabusa calipers and m/cyl's)but the indicators went from happy enough when i left to semi-fucntioning to completely cr@pped out by the time i got home AND i discovered a seriously large chunk of metal in the back tyre which means i'm up for a new 'un....bollocks
its enough to drive a chap to drink i tells ya
i blame Terry

I'm glad I'm not the only who John Williamson pisses off.

Geez Tez, the thought of you pooping your pants has put me off my evening cuppa and tim tam.

Years ago during a storm a bolt of lightening hit right outside the lounge room window of the unit I was living in....I'll never forget the sound, the curtains blew in and the big indoor pot plant by the window just sagged to the ground and a couple of leaves fell off....and I sh!t myself too, and I may have let a little wee go too  :-[
It pissed me off....literally

Hey Mick where are you getting your tires from? I've asked and looked and people throw their hands and say I don't know.
Bill the demon.
G'day Bill
This mob here sell the tyres mate.
There's no freight charge if you want to wait a couple of weeks for them to arrive and I've got enough to keep going with in the meantime.

I like that mate.
Some of these goodies would go well with a sidecar too.

140cc of grunt and one of those lumpy things

And a custom exhaust

The new tyres arrived today and I wasn't expecting to see them for another couple of weeks.
Aussie Post sent a text message to say that they had a parcel there and I thought that the new spokes had arrived.
They are due any day now but the tyres got here first.

They're no bloody good to me until the spokes arrive so I suppose that I can look at them until then.  ;D

If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Nothing wrong with that mate.
That's what I have sometimes with some fruit.
Even bacon and eggs and a coupla snags with toast does the job.
But then you feel like having a big T Bone steak with mashed spuds and veges for breakfast.  ;D

Hmmmmnnnnn, an inspection of the food cupboard revealed:
Weetbix-nil,
Butter-nil, and
Vegemite-nil.

No matter, I've got a box of "Just Right" and a carton of milk, so all good here, tomorrow is another day.......... ;D

Well I know a 1200 sportster's got more power than a big twin Brian, so maybe if you want more power you need to downsize? ;D

In it's past life, the Postie Bike had that much RWHP that someone had installed a rim lock to the back wheel.
Now the intentions were all good but that created a big out of balance problem.
So after attempting to unsuccesfully overcome this, the only resolution that came to mind was to zip tie a bottle of beer to the opposite side.  ;D
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.
