Sorry to see that Don, hope they’re both fine.

They tested neg. Had their masks on in the bus and were a distance away. I went to teach anyway, they go back to school two days a week starting next thursday.

I'm pleased to hear the grand kids have tested negative Don. I hope it all work's out for the best.

On another matter the saga of my elusive 750A continues. I just got a call from my carrier, he's been tboned by a truck in Melbourne and has no idea when he will be able to get back up to Brissy to load my bike.

Bloody Hell!

Yeah Brian, fcuk that guy off, take Frank's advice and contact me and I'll give you the name and number of the carrier who brought my K0 rolling (without a front wheel) K0 frame down, for only $165! Cheap as chips, and excellent service! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

So I placed an order with Fastenal for some stainless hardware to finish up the 550. Apparently two girls work there and it has been three days now since I placed the order and I still haven't got a quote yet. I called back yesterday and talked to the other girl and she took my email again. I still haven't heard back from them and that pisses me off. Their excuse was that they are really busy but three days with no contact. It seems like there are a lot of places using Covid as an excuse to be lazy or something. I guess I will call the corporate office and try to find out why I can't get a response from that store. I miss the days when I could go to a business and buy what I want and talk to a person that knows the product they are selling, not just what the screen tells them.

Yeah,Covid is the main excuse I've heard from individuals the past 6 months:just tell them "it's because of this virus that.............."  I wonder what they'll think of after we have a working vaccine ??

I got my project/parts K0 out in the driveway. Called the cops on myself to get the Vermont title VIN check, The officer came and was good with it but he didn't have any letterhead paper to ID himself on. He also couldn't get the VIN  to come back and left. 4 hours later, no word and I'm expecting a tow truck to show up. It must be about quitting time for day shift.
And that might piss me off.

The PoPO just called, he got busy and the VIN didn't come back. He needed the make, year and model. He said it's just a formality don't worry and he'll see me Monday AM.

Nah, don't worry Don, they won't put you in prison for fear of giving you Covid-19, so they'll either let you go, or shoot you. ;D

I got a good bill of sale, so I'm taking that Sean guy down with me! That said, I didn't see an ID and he was moving.
I was relieved the officer was good with the entire Vermont thing. He may be under the impression I have a Vermont based buyer. I've heard sometimes they balk at the non resident registration. I of course rolled it outside, away from the other bikes and didn't give any extra information.  I remembered it's like inviting a vampire into your home. Makes you powerless against them. L0L!

I've got a 'grippy' pair of small Craftsman needle nose mini pliers that work well for holding-on to circlips.

I feel for you mate, 8 or 9 years ago a little turd broke into my work car and smashed the window, to steal some CD's and other things or little value, but it rained overnight and as the next day was a public holiday I didn't see it until late the next day. By the the passenger seat was soaking wet, luckily it had a rubber mat that stopped most of the water soaking into the carpet, but it still stunk for weeks.

I rang the cops and reported it, then had to drive over to a panel shop so they could fix the door and replace the glass, it turned out that he'd hit several other cars in my street, but one of the neighbours recognised him, and he got arrested, went to court, and because he was a minor, was let off with a slap on the wrist. I think that pissed me off the most.
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Neighbour across the road had a girl move in with 2 dogs. When nobody's home at night they don't stop barking and a couple of other dogs join in with them . That and the smelly monster pig next door doesn't help. What pisses me off is they just don't care.

Yes Don, good old CV is the excuse for any form of inefficiency right now. My favourite big box auto parts store is only open for pre-order pick up or home delivery, so I opted for home delivery. The store is in walking distance but 2 days on, no box has arrived yet. What a joke..... ;D

Yep, our neighbours had a yappy little dunny rug on legs that wouldn’t stop barking until they let it inside Ken, and even though they were home most of the time they’d ignore it’s barking, and my cursing it and telling it to shut the fcuk up. This went on for over 10 years, until one day, when it just stopped. Not sure what happened to it, but they didn’t get another dog, so nice and peaceful now. ;D
