I might have to check to see if I can rent a chipper. But most of it is vine and briar bushes. So not sure if it would be good for that.
I probably won't do anything with it till spring honestly

If your renting a chipper, get the biggest one you can, I bought a little 6.5hp and it's OK for 'yard work' but won't do the 3.5" diameter promised
It may be better to get someone with a 40hp truck or trailer mounted one?

Not so sure that a chipper will benefit cost V work/cleanup compared to a dumpster but I'll look into more prices when I get closer to time. At this point waiting for this snow to melt and I have a lot more brush to get down still.

I bought a chipper last year, cheap, from a guy who bought it thinking he was going to be able to turn his wooded block of land into a building block with just a small chainsaw and a 6.5 Hp chipper. He ended up spending thousands to have it professionally cleaned up, and had no use for the chipper. It works well for my needs, just turning branches into mulch. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

We used to have a huge maple in front of the house.  When it dropped a branch, I was busy for a day.

One night half of the tree went down, cross the road. It was hanging on electrical wires and took out three sections of our new fence.  The tree trunk on the ground was too big for my 20" chainsaw, I had to cut wedges to part it out. I am not sure how many trailers I filled with it.

I paid a pro to cut down the other half from top down.

We have dropped 150' trees a bunch of times, but that's in the woods. I still have two sketchy trees to drop but I'll call Otto my tree guy. We use him anytime there's something close enough to hit like the house or shop.

For over ten years my neighbor took care of any dangerous trees. He was a logger for a long time.
A dozen years ago he was clearing the whole center of his property, about 3 1/2 acres. One day he called me over to watch him domino 15 100' plus trees. He had them all wedge cut and partially back cut. It wasn't a straight line so each tree has to be aimed right. He nailed it, one of the coolest things I've ever seen. 8) It's also really dangerous and illegal to do in a commercial operation.

Cottonwood is a nasty tree to cut down. They can hold a ton of water. Sometimes it looks like a hose coming out of the saw cut while sawing and it stinks. It's also almost useless for firewood, to split it you have to cut the bark lengthwise down the log before cutting rounds. I left some 20' lengths laying in the yard for too long and they started to take root. We cut down the 3 cottonwood trees that were here right after moving in.

Alder is also dangerous to cut down. They like to split lengthwise and barber chair (split lengthwise, kick back and kill you). You need to strap them with a chain above the cut to prevent it.

Around here alders are basically weed trees. It also burns dirty, lots of ash. But it splits really easy and they grow pretty fast, they get 80' tall before they really start to fill out. I've been heating with wood for the last 24 years. The first 20 years I cut the trees down, drug them out of the woods, cut into rounds, split, stacked and hauled the wood to the house. Now my buddy Walt the wood guy delivers 6 cords of cut, split and dried Douglas Fir every year to the front of my wood shed for $325 a cord. Douglas Fir is the best firewood, it burns long and hot with minimal ash. 8)

Kelly, maybe but having built some stuff with alder it can simulate a more of a cherry finish and structure is not radically different, it had a reddish cast to it and it machined nicely and wasn't too heavy, beat the heck out of pine being more durable. But I was dealing with kiln dried alder and I liked it. I prefer a lightly finished wood to let the beauty of the wood be seen. Alder didn't have a lot of variation on its grain structure, no burls ir interesting figuring on the wood but it was straight grained and easy to work with. 8 wasn't building something I expected to last a lifetime but it was solid and inexpensive.

One of my retirement projects is to cut down the huge Conifer tree behind my house. There’s only 5 yards between the house and my garage and at the moment I have a temporary carport full of bike parts in there, but once it’s gone I’ll start trimming off branches one at a time. I bought a new 60cc Chinese  chainsaw a year or two ago but haven’t fired it up yet. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

It is and always was a biological weapon Trevor...why does this surprise you? Do they have an antidote to this poison? If not, they cannot control it.

If I was at all cynical, I’d suggest that “accidentally” releasing a virus capable of killing millions worldwide would be a great way for the big pharmaceutical companies to make a buck. One team of scientist's create a virus, and another team or teams from competing companies come up with a vaccine/s. Vaccines are much more profitable than a cure, because they can continue to be modified as the virus mutates.

During Covid’s initial assault, my superannuation (401K) took a $50K hit, which pissed me off as I’d just invested $50K into the fund virtually weeks before. Why the investment guru’s weren’t investing in big pharma at the time, still confuses me. I also found it ever so slightly ironic that the box of masks that I bought from my local pharmacy was made in Wuhan. ;D

 Hey, how about Dem Bears?

I took an engine case to the car wash for the second time, coming home the garbage can was hugging the snowbank at the opening of the driveway. It was icy this morning and the trash didn't get picked up. As I was turning in, my phone started ringing and I got distracted cutting the turn. I missed the trash can but ran the front of the rear fender into the wet snow breaking the lower part off and then running over it. Plastic fenders, what an awesome idea. They will never rust.

Raccoons in the dog house !  I let my German Shorthair out yesterday morning and all of a sudden she looked like a Rhodesian Ridgeback with her hair standing up.  ;D Raccoons and Shorhairs make a bad combo.  Made a removal "tool" to get a loop of rope around its head and dragged it out of my fenced backyard where it quickly went up into a neighbors maple tree. Now if I can just get rid of the deer she barks at out the window during the night I could live in peace  ;)
