Ruptured ear drums piss me off and broken cellphones do as well, been on 3 different regimes of antibiotics since the bleeding from the right ear began on 15th/16th.

This last round of antibiotics they have me on has one seriously scary list of this may result in of 6 main items and the first item is related to tendonitis or tendon rupture and a rupture can occur several months after you have taken it…
It is no fun…
My mother was in hospital with covid and C Diff, low potassium, both sisters fighting covid too…
That pisses me off too
Stupid china labs…

Causes the liver to really work double time….😳

the the Leo Flo a in is almost worse than the cure, tendon rupture months from now is possible, had a Achilles tendon rupture in 2009, 18 months recovery to fix the 98% tear of Achilles was not pleasant at all and 30% permanent nerve damage in parts of that ankle from injury or surgery  Not something I ever want to go through again,…
Let’s just do a lethal dose of acetaminophen while it is compromised…

Don’t worry, Im not allowed to take nsaids except the 81mg aspirin for cardiac assistance itis enteric coasted to get it past the stomach…

Squirrels......

My son has a Ruger 10/22 bull barrel for this task…with subsonic ammo it just makes a “slunk” sound as the action reloads…quietest  non suppressed gun I’ve heard…

Even quieter and literally a two step, maybe three, is Golden Marlin…don’t use around people or pets…

Jegs, they took my order for K&N pod filters and didn't send them for over a month, no notice or anything. Even though they billed my paypal account, my order said will ship from manufacturer they haven't shipped and now my order is gone from their web site. They will incur the wrath of my former telephone rep wife tomorrow while I'm an election judge.
I'm told the Coughlin family sold out to foreigners so there's that. They probably released most of the employees and moved ordering offshore.

 Edit: I got a refund.

Best “Suppressed” sub machine gun I’ve ever used was a WW2 “Silent Stirling”. The barrel was only very short and the suppressor was the full length of the barrel. All you could hear was the action going backwards and forwards. Great piece of kit, way better than suppressed H&K’s, Ingrams etc. You could clear a building and the neighbours wouldn’t hear a thing. ;D

I bought a spoke set on ebay from California but miscalculated spoke length and need to return it. Fcuking Ebay, the return address is in China.

At least I ordered too long and there's the possibility of rolling threads on them at a different shorter length, $46 isn't the end of the world I guess.

Alan,don't try threading them.

I might make a few phone calls to see if I can have one of the wheel shops shorten and roll some threads on them, but I agree cutting threads on spokes with a die is not correct.

I've got another set on the way 2xx mm this time. Calculating j-bend spoke length was easy, this is my first time messing with a straight-pull spoke setup. I'm lacing a 21" front rim from a Royal Enfield Himalayan to a spare hub for my Interceptor. Nobody seems to have done this before, at least not that I've found online.

What’s the plan Al, are you going to build a bigger Himalayan? I saw a couple of interceptor wheels for sale at a swap meet on Sunday, and wondered what I could do with them, but kept on walking. ;D

I posted a video of my twin-shock CBX showing it idling without the usual "clank clank clank".  Some people became obsessed with the airbox "It's a Prolink airbox, they don't fit, it won't work!".  I said "Gee, I put it on 25 years ago, and while it's not a perfect fit, the bike runs really well".  To which they responded "It's a Prolink airbox, they don't fit, it won't work!".

The world is full of idjits...

More of an experiment for now, I've got the notion to build it up more as a scrambler but not for looks. I've got Himalayan springs and dampers, cartridge emulators and preload caps when I have the time to tinker, and I've got longer fittings for the rear shocks to replace the lower eye mount to raise ride height if needed. I've got a, set of 18" 50/50 tires to mount up after I wear out the Pirelli Phantoms but I couldn't resist trying to put together a 21" front wheel. I'm probably never going to go far off road but I think making this bike a little bit more capable won't hurt anything, it's all in fun and easily reverseable.

You might need to get longer fork tubes too Alan, I just measured the distance between the top of the fender and bottom triple clamp on my sons GT, 4.5 inches. The distance from the closest point on the oil cooler and the fender is only 3.5 inches. ;D

That's true.
I calculate that with the Himalayan fork dampers and springs installed (supposedly an 8" suspension travel) and cartridge emulators and preload caps in my stock length 650 fork tubes and lowers, that with the difference vs the stock components and taking in to account the shorter 650 fork tubes, that I'll be able to leave out the preload spacers and set sag with the preload caps (initially). I'm counting on 3 more inches clearance.

This guy put his together the same way and even raised the forks in the triples a little more than stock to take up some of the extra length, I'm not crazy about the Himalayan wanna-be look though, I've got the hugger fender from a Himalayan on the way, I'll paint it and the 21" rim silver so the mods blend in better.

That's with the stock 18" front wheel, but probably yes something like that.
